@@jonchah7346 I started having a very strange pain in my back that would come for like 3 weeks and then go away. It was so weird because the pain would move to different areas of my back. I finally figured out it was AS. I now know that eating chemicals like aspartame triggered the pain. Now I avoid chemicals in my food and I rarely get a glare up. If I do get a flare up I fast for one day then eat only beef, salt, and water for 3 days and it goes away. My conclusion is that the cow has four stomachs and that filters out the pesticides and harmful chemicals. Other animals with four stomachs like bison would also be an option but beef patties are cheap and easier to buy.

I hear you. Such a demoralising account of suffering. I hope you find your way…. I too have AS, undiagnosed for decades after onset of symptoms. If you live in Australia I found knowledgeable and compassionate rheumatologist who recognised AS in women ( some older Drs may still not believe this) , and our Gov PBS greatly subsidises biologics ( we pay a healthy level of taxes for the greater good of all) so, even on minimal income, it would be affordable - I just am overjoyed with massive improvement in pains and symptoms , energy, function and mobility, mood and overall quality of life. If your State or Country doesn’t help you could you migrate? I couldn’t bear the thought of not being able to afford these medications; must be so burdensome , and unfair. Everyone deserves opportunities to live their best life, no matter their circumstances or geography. Wishing you the very best….

Hi, while on biologics you slow progression of disease. You should keep taking it for life or until medicine find some other better treatment. If you stop inflammation will return and you will feel pain. There is no cure unfortunately.

In my experience I have reduced my pain flare ups by eating just plain beef, salt, and water. I think my flare ups are caused by the chemicals in our food and cows have four stomachs which filter out the pesticides and chemicals. I make sure not to eat any aspartame and glyphosate. My pain is so bad i compare it to labor pains so i am very motivated to just eat beef.

Hello, I was wondering if you have a greater chance of being diagnosed with more than one autoimmune disease if you have AS.
I have Type 1 diabetes, scleroderma, microscopic polyangiitis and sarcoidosis ( along with AS ). I sometimes wonder if I was possibly misdiagnosed with some of my diagnosis because it seems some of my symptoms overlap with each other.
I’m really tired of never feeling well and have zero quality of life. There isn’t a day in the last 36 years that I have woken and felt well… I’m just tired of living this way. What happened that makes a person have so many autoimmune immune diseases? Other than genetics is there anything that I could have done to prevent my situation?

Now I am on meds for many years & remission is not happening 🤷‍♀️

If you don’t want to take NSAID’s, I recommend a vitamin based alternative called Atribion. You can mainly find it in Korean markets or Hispanic markets like Mega Mart. It’s pure vitamin and I used to take that before I knew what HUMIRA or even what this disease was and I felt normal for awhile. Works better than NSAIDS in my opinion, and again, pure vitamins.
