I had two to three year old bulbs which I planted in November.. But it grew only leaves and no flower stick ever formed.
But this year in last week of March. One bulb flowered beautifully in four... But other bulbs still are growing leaves.. How I should take care for non flowering and flowering bulb. As till now, I had no idea of caring amyrallis.. I kept it in open sun and rain and frost and it was always green and lush.. Only it's leaves become dull in sun..

Nice information but still lil confusion. How-to provoke plant for flowering after dormancy period..and if leaves r growing so flowering will not coming? If we trim leaves than can we get flower.

I have planned 4 bulbs in 2nd week of March but till date not a single flowering stock has grown, though all bulbs have developed very beautiful lush green foliage.
Now the flowering season is at end. Wait for next season.

Very good and useful information. I had planted some bulbs last year...my plant is very lush and full of healthy leaves..but uptil now I've got flowers in just one bulb...what may be the reason??
Keep the plants in dormancy during winter as suggested in the video.
Yes. I have same problem with my lily plant. Many leaves but no flowers.
After August, watering must be reduced. This will make leaves dry up a bit or fade. Then we must trim the leaves. This will result in flowering as per video. Am I right?

Sir very useful information I purchased 8 bulbs in October last year and planted them and had 5 bulbs all of them have leaves but no flower yet my potting soil is same like yours I also add bone meal dap pl advise for flowering
If you live at a place where winter arises, then your repotting time was not correct. It should not be fertilized or watered more during winter.

I have already mentioned in the video that all the leaves should be removed from the plant during October and keep the plant dormant for at least 8 weeks for reblooming.

Hello sir. Thanks for this informative vedio. First time amaryllis bulbs I am growing. Ordered 3 bulbs from amzn for 99 inr.
Q1.) They are very small size, so I think i wont get any flowers soon. How much year needed to get flowers ??
Q2.) However to pot them, I made soil mix of : 50% garden soil + 30% vermicompost + 15% rice husk + 2% saaf + 3% bone meal powder. Is this mix is good or something isn't correct???

That is a fungal disease called red blotch. Spray fungicide at an interval of 7 days for 2, 3 times.

This Vedio us already watched and liked by me as well, my mistake I forgot the Tips given.
Last year actually I divided my one plant ,now in 5 pots of 6/8" size, growing ,has now green leaves 15)18" height. Placed in direct Sun,which now will shift to place where morning Sun 2/4 hrs. Then shade. Now Nov is also half gone, should I Cut the leaves, which not done as per your tips. Sorry.

Stop adding fertilizer and water less to force the bulbs into dormancy. You can cut the leaves too.
