This video is definitely different from my typical. My wife and I recently went to Iceland on vacation to Iceland. Prior to leaving my kids and I had a wild idea of making a Hot Wheels video there. Initially I didn't really want to do it because I just wanted to enjoy my vacation and take in the beautiful scenery of Iceland. But I packed about 20 feet of track just in case.
After filming in a couple places, I realized "WHAT A UNIQUE WAY TO DOCUMENT OUR TRIPS!" My wife who was initially apprehensive, was soon coming up with ideas with me. It was a ton of fun for the two of us.
There were a few times where I couldn't help but laugh at myself as I filmed this video. Here I was, a 37 year old playing with Hot Wheels Tracks surrounded by other tourists. In Stokksnes and Reynisdrangar, I was among several professional photographers capturing the most dynamic and and beautiful places of Iceland. As they were set up with all their professional equipment, I pull out my tracks, phone tripod and start pushing Yoshi down the track!
Also, filming this might have achieved new reaches with Hot Wheels! I can't prove this, but has anyone ever filmed a Hot Wheels track on a Glacier? A Ferry? A (dormant) Volcano?
