I like your update and the support you're getting. It's good to maintain your loc confidence. Most people don't talk about their locs in Nigeria and those that have don't come on line to talk about. Thank God for RUclips. So I'm just trying to live my life the way I want with my locs.
You are correct about locs being low maintenance. Healthy locs are the best locs. I am 1.8 year in and also use minimal products. I wash only with black soap. Seldom retwist and no oils bcz there are some oils in the black soap. It keeps my locs light and fluffy.
I feel you about needing encouragement during the journey. I STAY on IG and YT for videos and pics. Your locs are beautiful! I will be 1 year loc’d this Friday (April 8) and I am so excited to have stuck with it this far! We are all “trusting the process!” 🎉 🌻
Your locs are gorgeous. I love how you are gushing over them, that is adorable. I’m five weeks into my loc journey, and I’m loving it. I looking forward to all the phases. 🌻
Lol aww yes I just love my babies! 🥰 thank you so much. I wish you the best experience ever on your loc journey. Enjoy every single phase to the fullest! 🌻
Beautiful locs ❤️ I'm six months locd and diy when my scalp starts to feel itchy I shampoo with Sulfur 8 and follow up with a moisturizing shampoo. I love my locs I'm leaving them alone being patient is key❤️
Where has the time gone?! Your locs definitely look longer and you can see significant changes in them and they look beautiful. I like the color it looks pretty on you. Maybe if you get bored with it put some accessories in to spice it up from time to time because your hair beautiful! Of course, if at any point you change your hair, I support it as well but I think it's always good to think on it first. 🌻💛
Your hair bus so beautiful and getting so long!! I do have a question. You said that you keep it super simple with your products, and you use oil on your scalp then twist. When did you stop using Aloe Vera Gel? I no that you used it for a long time like for a year I think. 🌻
Thank you so much!! Yes I like the aloe Vera gel still I just have been out of it for a while and never bought anymore. I always have oils so I just use that. Really no other reason why I stopped using it. 🌻
I don’t do any of those methods particularly.I just retwist my roots. I just do whatever I feel like doing honestly lol. Sometimes I palm role but I never roll my whole loc. I like my bumpy locs and I don’t want to lose that. 🌻

Are you still using Aloe Vera Gel when retwisting?
No I haven’t picked any up in a while so I just use oil 🌻

What method do you use to retwist your hair? Palm rolling, interlocking, or lock smithing? Plus do you roll your whole loc?
I don’t do any of those methods particularly.I just retwist my roots. I just do whatever I feel like doing honestly lol. Sometimes I palm role but I never roll my whole loc. I like my bumpy locs and I don’t want to lose that. 🌻
@@thebohobabe15 oh okay thank you 💕
I thought there was something wrong with my phone when the volume cut out
Lol sorry! I forgot to put music there 😂
Did you retwist yourself or did a professional do it?
I retwist myself and technically I am a professional, since I’m a licensed Cosmetologist as well lol. I only trust me to do my hair now I want 😂🌻
