I've said this before, but Sophist is a champ for still holding on and playing with his friends. Even if Lady Luck makes it clear she has no intentions of working with him, he still just plays and has fun, despite his multiple losses. Real homie right there
He brought it originally on himself by always trolling and fucking others over. After though it just got sad, his luck sucks dick. As a terrible roller in luck based games, my heart goes out for him
@Jmlew11 I think the reason why Vern GOT more sympathy is because even though he gets beat into the dirt now, he was genuinely a super villain before and it usually harmed Vern in the process. Now the roles between Eevee and Vern have pretty much switched.
If he wants his luck to improve and win without any gimmicks, he needs to embrace order. Like, I know he wants to be chaotic and be the funny guy, but I think he needs to play to win, aka be the try hard.

I’ve played games where I actively try to sabotage a specific player and they end up winning just because of RNG, and Sophist has terrible luck. Besides, I don’t think he cares that much about losing if he keeps playing with them. He just gets frustrated because the cycle repeats itself regardless of how he plays.

Early on in Party Crashers, before they even made the Group official, Sophist was just Tormenting people in Mario Party (Mainly Vern) for no reason other than "Le Funny", so when Karma suddenly fell back on him, you felt he deserved it. But now Sophist's Bad luck Rivals Proton Jon's Bad Luck so much that it's gone from being Cathartic to making me feel bad for him. Kinda like how Early Spongebob, Squiward deserved when he got his shit kicked in because he was that much of an Asshole, only for Every season after the first Spongebob movie to start doing it for no reason other than "Fuck this guy in particular", to the point of Any Episode focused on making Squidward suffer being labled a "Squidward torture P0*n"

Brent has now (unwittingly) robbed Eevee of a guaranteed victory _twice._ Combine this with the fact that Vernias has developed the occasional streak of chaos, and the two are well on their way to swapping places.

Vernias has gotten extremely toxic, but it’s not like he’s channeling that by throwing cursed dice at Eevee or always stealing from him with boos. Eevee mostly gets consistently horrible rolls, Bowser shenanigans, and twice now has lost out on basically guaranteed victories due to Brent receiving one too many bonus stars.
As much as I agree, I can still respect having a favorite that other people scream hate at like they're owed money. In the end, Vernias liking Birdo doesn't end the world
