Do you know when the accumulator was last replaced? If you’re not getting F1 error lights then it might be fine. You might also want to check the particle filter on the F1 system. Your point about the pump priming slowly is where my brain jumps to, as well.
@@normalguysupercar That, and while the 360 was not the first car to use it, it is definitely a car with "teething issues" in relation to that system. I think the 360CS was the first car to kind of get it right, but there's a huge gap between what we see in a Scuderia or 599, compared to what it is in a 360 or 575 for example.
Thanks for the link for the Launch X431, will definitely use to purchase. Does this tool require a subscription in perpetuity to do specialized functions? I know that a cheaper version (ThinkDiag OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth) requires a yearly renewal. I’m not referring to the 2 years of free updates, just vendor-specific use subscription
any advice/tips when driving an F430 uphill ? I leave uphill (with an 180 deg turn in the middle of it) and this worries me that the F430 is not suited to this conditions... what do you think?
@@normalguysupercar how do get it "fully engaged" or when do you say it is "fully engaged"? it is something that occur at certain speed, or distance or?
Hi Dan. Would I be able to adjust the PIS on a 2009 Maserati Granturismo with the F1 clutch? Also, what happened to Richard's Maserati MC? The last video I saw was about 4-5 years ago? Also, could you make some more Maserati service content. Thank you.

Don’t you find that with cars like this some things seem like actual quality and others were made in someone’s garage? (Nobody that actually survived from the 80’s says dongle)…. 😂
Thank you ! I’ve owned the launch for a bit but was nervous to do this on my Maserati gransport. Will try now !!
Nice
this is the video I needed to adjust my clutch to purge the air circuit and shift gears faster. I change my clutch 👍 thank a lot .
You're welcome!
such a great demonstration vid, i wish more pple do this on the internet..thanks!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the detailed video and the link for the Launch X431. I know I need to do this on mine.
Yeah it's probably a good idea to have one
Glad that you do this service before selling it to a potential new owner!
Yeah it drove line crap before
Dino sighting! Are the cats using their new door?
Dino is, not sure about Enzo
If I am not mistaken the f1 pump should be the as an Alfa Romeo 147, try checking the part number.
I believe that's correct
I'm going to assume that the clutch adjustment on a converted F430 is strictly mechanical?
Correct there is no PIS setting... That's controlled by your left foot.
Oh oh, I think I understand what's going on here now.
Nice maintance video.
Glad you enjoyed it
2:17 Great Computer for turning
Yeah.

It honestly could just be the battery too...
Dan, is this something one should do on a 458?
No
It's a DCT car.
Great video, I personally am not a fan of the F1 system. Mine has been giving me mostly headaches! (360)
They can be a pain when not running correctly

Are you attending the launch of the 812 successor next week?
Nope
is it applicable to quattroporte with duoselect?
I believe so
Hi Dan, Does the 2024 LAUNCH X431 Elite PRO3S+ V5.0 support other Ferrari models like Ferrari 360
Probably. I don't have that version but mine does
Same thoughts. The link directs us to the 2024…Elite PRO3S+
I have a 360 and am interested in a good 2 way scan tool. Love the educational videos btw!

I think it requires a renewal annually if you want updates but you can still use it.
is the Launch x431 plug and play with the 360s or do you need to purchase and download a separate software?

As long as the clutch is engaged fully then it doesn't really matter

I would think it should work on the Maserati but I have never tried.
Is that number of 4.9 mm one to use on F430's in general?
No it's different on every car.
👍
Thank you
The pump is binding and dragging and not providing the proper pressure
Possibly. It's certainly needing to be replaced

How so? How does the ethanol find its way into the F1 pump? That sounds strange to me.
@@shovel_head80not a fuel pump. It’s a hydraulic fluid (ATF) pump.
Should retitle to: Ferrari takes a PIS 😂
