there's an easter egg in this cathedral. shortly after you lose crono, if you visit, there will one nun in the pews. if you talk to her, she'll give encouraging words about how, even when all seems lost, there's still hope.
Remarkable! You took an unsettling and mystical theme and made it even MORE mystical and even cheerful towards the middle. I am constantly overcome by your overflowing inspiration. It emanates from you in almost shocking degrees.
An instant connection with the soul of the music. The temporary war between health and passion. A waltz of magic, concern, happiness, inspiration, curiosity and wonder. Truly, a dance of the heart.....she demands the full attention of her audience for she moves as she pleases
Staring at this for a while then staring some more.. If pictures are worth a thousand words this is easily "over 9000" lol hope you got the DBZ refrence ;)
The only thing that I could possibly think of when this plays is opening up the Sealed Chests at the Hero’s Grave which is where Frog powers up the Masamune at the time he examines Cyrus’s Gravestone.
Oh my dear, sweet Rebecca! This...I love this mix. There was a certain melancholy to the original track and I never got to immerse in it because there was just something a little off-putting about that track that bugged me. You, however, have corrected the flaw in the original and made something so beautiful. Thank you for all the work you do.
So beautiful, as I always tend to say. You really enhance all the covers that you arrange, and evoke the feelings of listening to those tracks for the first time and feeling overwhelmed by just how much music can really make you feel. Your original music has the same effect, as well. You're able to convey such emotion with your arrangements and your own original pieces! On another note, I hope you're starting to feel better, and if not, I hope it isn't long before you're back on your feet!
I'm having a live orchestra perform my Chrono Trigger arrangements soon, as it happens! ^_^ If you want to see the performance, there will be a livestream! facebook.com/events/174216413297453/?active_tab=about There's the event in case you're curious! I'm trying to spread the word! :D
this was great you really brought this song to life with all the instruments I love hearing anyone cover songs from this soundtrack since it is so good but you hardly ever hear anyone do this song which is a shame since it is one of the better ones
Oohga bunga munga morgeous, oh my friggin' God, it's GORGEOUS! What a thing to wake up to. I needed another Chrono cover, I really did. Please take good care of yourself. You don't have to say, of course, but do you know what's been wrong?
Thanks! I have been! I just went out into the city (I live in a small, semi-rural town) for a change of pace/scenery. It was very therapeutic! It was so nice to get back into the trees afterward, though. :3
I think it gets overshadowed by "Yearnings of the Wind", but as far as I am concerned every piece from that game is gold. Please take care, and know our thoughts are with you. Music is especially good for the soul.
OMG holy yes. As I was falling asleep, this popped up on autoplay and I had to express my gratitude and appreciation for this piece as well as this lovely interpretation. I hear influences from other game sountracks with some of the emphasis on certain aspects of the song, in the best kind of way.
RebeccaETripp Well, after a year or so of finding you... That, and, no offense, some of the more overly bubbly waltzes just aren't my personal cup of tea. Tons of people love 'em, I know, and power to them.
Whoa, I was caught oof guard with this one. I just got a rush of nostalgia, big time, right in my face.... Amazing how these games are buried inside, only waiting for a good reason to resurface. Just wanna install the rom on my SNES Mini, now. Too bad I have to work...
Excellent! You only get to be Geekanomicon once, so you must seize experiences as they come, embracing new ones when old ones temporarily leave you. ^_^
listening to this again today. so beautiful, I feel this song is very appropriate for winter, and the pictures you selected for the video are spot on. Are those a particular place or randomly selected?
I finally had a chance to listen to this! It's fantastic, as usual :) Are you doing a Chrono Trigger soundtrack medley like you have for Zelda and Final Fantasy?
RebeccaETripp, I actually have it. There was a complete brain fart because I enjoy your Zelda medley ones so much, so it slipped my mind! Do you have plans for a new orchestral medley?
Eric McDermet Oh, yes! So many! Secret of Mana might be next (I intended to do it this summer but got pretty occupied with other things) followed by some more Final Fantasy ones. ^^ I have quite a lot of possible ones I might do when I'm done all the ones that are officially planned.
Sorry in advance if I already mentioned this, but I'm having a live orchestra perform my Chrono Trigger arrangements soon, as it happens! ^_^ If you want to see the performance, there will be a livestream! facebook.com/events/174216413297453/?active_tab=about There's the event in case you're curious! I've never played any game of the series but I know this track because it's often played on one of my favorite video game music internet radio stations. As soon as I heard the first notes of the main melody, it was immediately familiar Very nice strings and piano What did you use for the chorus?
The first image looks a lot like Neuschwanstein Castle, viewed from the back. Also, living in Medina Village, I must also state that time travellers coming through your closet are a bit of annoyance.
We all know whom Magus indirectly alluded to in plot, when they could get away with putting hints in the game in Medina. It is something Square will deny intentfully placing in the plot, forever. (Like Rinoa being Ultimecia extradimensionally so, in F.F. 8, for example, it is inconvenient to marketing depts bottom lines in demographic targeting. Inconvenient liability..etc) . We all know Iff we think about it , abit. Again. Hint: Cyrus is a "crusader" from western continent of Guardia. The magi come from the far east, aka Medina. 1 plus one equals two, (Plus, Magus plot character is a prophet, literally). Is this an meaningful input/corelation? Thoughts on both denied company plot intepretations above? Is it relevant? I think thought it out fairly well.
This game was soo historically well, mimicking representations of non-fiction to a significant degree. I shant not elaborate further. Heh. Too controversial. Trusst me.
All of my Chrono Trigger standalones are officially on Spotify. :)

6 years and still repeating this song..
Thanks! ^_^ It's definitely one of the most beautiful themes in the game.
Great background images. The pre-reset world looked so beautiful.
One of the best piece of music in the game. Very haunting arrangement; I could listen to it on repeat.
Thanks again!
Superb!
This definitely takes you into the world of Chrono Trigger, traveling along with the gang to save Marle.
"Delicious humans, indeed."
Hehehehe! Yes! That part of the game really sticks out in my memory. Thank you. ^_^
I randomly looked up at 2:37 and saw Squire’s Castle that I've been to dozens of times near where I lived in Cleveland, Ohio! So cool!
Been going through the Chrono Trigger/Cross soundtracks lately, and what an underrated gem this song is! I absolutely love your version!
The original might be my favourite song from that game! Thank you!

Another magnificent piece. You are so much more than a master. I'm glad you're feeling better. I've missed hearing from you and hearing your music.
Well, I've been taking many steps to heal myself. :)

Another beautiful one. How authentically and with such love you cover these.
It's so good I want to scream.
Thank you. I really appreciate that! This track in the game means a lot to me!

also when you teleport to Medina village. anytime you use that teleport
It's obvious this is a song close to you, there's just this masterful approach you took to this one. Fantastic.

An Uematsu track from this game. You can really tell! This, the forest theme, and the End of Time are my favourites and that soundtrack. Thanks!
@@RebeccaETripp figures it was Uematsu now that you mention it yeah this is more his style anyway your welcome!

Oh my goodness. I forgot how much I loved this piece. You nailed the atmosphere perfectly!
^//^ Thank you so much! It is often forgotten.
I think it gets overshadowed by "Yearnings of the Wind", but as far as I am concerned every piece from that game is gold.
Please take care, and know our thoughts are with you. Music is especially good for the soul.

Thank you. I'm actually working on a piece today, for the first time in over a week. ^_^
Ooh, I can't wait to hear what you come up with.
Thank You so much my Friend! This is very pleasant, and I Love it. Get well soon! The world needs your melodious rays of creativity.
OMG holy yes. As I was falling asleep, this popped up on autoplay and I had to express my gratitude and appreciation for this piece as well as this lovely interpretation. I hear influences from other game sountracks with some of the emphasis on certain aspects of the song, in the best kind of way.
Thank you for saying so. ^_^
lovely rendition of orchestral color/timbre....more !
Beautiful, thanks for this masterpiece
Thank you, too!
Rebecca, Your music is very nice, greetings again from Argentina :)

Aw, yes. Was just starting to panic about running low on backlog...
This was worth the wait, for sure.
Best wishes your way. ;)
Hehe! How could you run low? There are over 500! XD Thanks!
RebeccaETripp Well, after a year or so of finding you...
That, and, no offense, some of the more overly bubbly waltzes just aren't my personal cup of tea. Tons of people love 'em, I know, and power to them.

Ah, that makes sense, then! I'm working on a Final Fantasy 3 cover right now. I hope you will enjoy it. ;)
RebeccaETripp I did!
Thanks for understanding.

There's no stopping you until all bad things in this world will have dissipated, is there?
All my respect.

This is such an incredible cover, why did it take me so long to find it?
Well, at least you have a fresh enjoyment of it right now. It's one of my own favourites! ^_^
Do you know what this makes me think of?
The outskirts of Bran Castle on a cold, wintry January morning, ca. 1460.
Amazing.. Just amazing.
Thank you!
beautiful
amo tus vídeos , saludos :3
Gorgeous, I love it. But I'm worried about you, please get well soon.
I finally had a chance to listen to this! It's fantastic, as usual :) Are you doing a Chrono Trigger soundtrack medley like you have for Zelda and Final Fantasy?

Voxos for the chorus. :) I'm glad you already knew this tune! It's a beautiful one.
You've covered Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger?? ☺️❤️ You've pretty much covered my childhood lol
Yeah. Those games are my childhood too. ^^ Thank you for your words!
Beautiful. :-) XO

Last time we talked you was with a low health, did you get better? O_o
I did for a while, although I'm now having to be careful not to overdo it! Thanks for checking up on me (and my work!)
Health has been a lot better this past year or so. ^_^

This has a very Danny Elfman quality to it, like if Tim Burton directed a Chrono Trigger movie.
:) I like Elfman's music overall.

You're right, I did like this one. Heh.
Oh, awesome! :D I'm glad you did. ^_^
