    good to see that it is used for the better use ,we need to know about this road how it would be over the period of time.

    Yes, we could do that here in the U.K . The polymers would strengthen our roads = Less pot holes !.

    lol was created back when i was like 23 its 7 yrs ago by our russian old dude.Have seen video on youtube of whole process he showed (10-15 mins) and asked our government to help in development,that was so cool and innovative.everyone lold at his idea. someone made it possible

    what about the little pieces that come off and break off? it'll wear off and degrade down to microplastic bits and pollute the water supplys and pollute the earth worse.. and would animals eat it? and would the summer heat make the plastic release toxicness into to air?

      Plastics less than 2.36 mm mesh size is used here. There is no possibility of plastics coated with bitumen and compressed into aggregates to come out of the structure.
      Plastics are inert and does not pose any contamination and health issues. It will remain within the soil system like rubber particles which may happen in case of rubberised roads.

    Chinese already had a plan of a 100% plastic but indian already find out a solution of composite mixer of tar and plastic really it's a big thing tropical roads will be water proof then will last long and good traction surface as well .

    But in russian road rubber roads in too cold will lost grip its for rainy area solution not good for too cold are because in Russia you need to put grit on the roads but if road got plastic it's skidding will be high and loose traction as well . Plastic roads is kind of waterproof solution so where submerge roads under water roads will be good at that way .

    what about the smoke ? when we burn the plastic isn't it toxic ? is the production sustainable ?

    • @greenpretender
      @greenpretender 6 лет назад

      Plastics emit dioxin and furans when burned under 800deg C....good question...

    • @aspolyindustriesnagarajan6502
      @aspolyindustriesnagarajan6502 6 лет назад

      The plastic is not burned but it melted and coated with the stones.So there is no question of fumes. ok

    • @utsavman47
      @utsavman47 5 лет назад

      It is heated in the absence of oxygen so it is not burned you see.

    • @t.kbandopadhyay9043
      @t.kbandopadhyay9043 Год назад

      Plastics are not burnt in this process, it is melted on the surface of the aggregates. No toxic fumes are generated.

  • @orion3267
    @orion3267 6 лет назад

    When this is heated throughout the hot summer days, does it give off any fumes from the plastic? Also, how does it fair with gasoline or oil drippings from leaky vehicles?

    • @gary6395
      @gary6395 6 лет назад +1

      Hot summer days does not exceed 40 degree. Plastic does not melt at less than 150 degree. So no fumes in summer.

    • @t.kbandopadhyay9043
      @t.kbandopadhyay9043 Год назад

      Hot summer days' temperature on the road surface may go upto about 65 to even 70 degree centigrade.
      Melting point of plastics are more than 110 d.c. Hence there is possibility of its evaporation. Rather it stops softening of bitumen roads.

    Lol! Forgot about UV and friction from vehicles? Even if it has UV resist additive, you cannot fully UV proof it. Now not only fishes will eat microplastics, land based animals will have them soon. Humans will also inhale these microplastics when they drive through these roads.

    What is happening while adding shredded plastic with cold metal, as the vedio shows.
    It is burning in plant,
    burning plastic in public place with public money.
    It is possible in pug mill only.
    Pl display correct procedure.
    Shredded plastic to be padded in hot aggregate, mix well and then add bitumene.
    HM plant can not be used for this purpose.

      Plastic at 200+ degree C can produce quiet a bit of harmful gas but at 160-170 degree C as the video says it just melts with minimal harmful gas production
