As someone who has a nearly gold EXE, try to place traps only around areas you know people visit, you did a good job at this during the Joy of Creation map (The last round of the video) but something I did notice, and I think you picked up on as well, is when to use your 1 ability. Instead of using it to engage targets, try to only use it when you know the person your after is 1. Low on stam, and 2. away from others. It really helped me on landing some hits I wouldn't have gone for when I starting out. Love the content, I hope my advice could be of good use, and have a good rest of your day/night :D
