This is one off my favorite episodes. Jin and Sun are all around great characters and I love their relationship and arc. Hurley visiting at the end and accompanying Sun to see Jin's grave is also a very sweet moment.
Sun should have told him about the affair. Juliet telling Jin didn't make me angry because Sun shouldn't have had the affair in the first place. It was clear to me that Sun was NEVER going to tell him.
Everyone talking about it's not her place to tell him. ITS HIS PLACE TO KNOW who cares who tells him if she won't everyone who knows should. If you know someone is cheating and don't tell the other person you are just as guilty and just as low.
Hell yes to Juliet telling Jin about the affair and uhhhh SAVING SUN AND THE BABY'S LIVES. It was absolutely necessary. Harsh but necessary. Also shoutout to Michael Giacchino's 'Karma Jin-itiative'.
This episode, although it isn't even particularly one of my favourites, is a perfect example for why I love this show so much. Because the creators and showrunners treat their audience with respect, for all the entertaining and exciting plot twists they throw in from time to time, they also make the audience think and find some stuff out for themselves sometimes, like here the confusing yet perfect play with flashback AND -forward within the same episode. Because they've never done that before! It's such a perfect way to fool us as a viewer for shock value, without insulting our intelligence at the same time! So not just the stories themselves are exiting and entertaining (plus of course the acting, music, production value, etc., too!), often times it's also the storyTELLING, kind of the framework that sets things up, intrigues the viewer and eventually pays some things off again in sometimes very clever and unexpected ways... I just went so much into detail with my explanation there, because I feel that Lost definitely deserves some exagerrated praise from time to time. Still my most favourite tv show of all time.....

Because times have passed and characters have been developed. Changes of opinions happen to everyone on both movies and real life events, happen to you and me also.
I'm so glad Nikki and Rana were genuinely shocked about the Micheal reveal cause I remember at the time this episode aired it wasn't really that shocking for most people since the creators had revealed before the season started that Harold Perineau was coming back and as soon Ben said that he had a spy on the boat pretty much everyone assumed that it was Micheal. So it was really cool to see someone have a genuine shock reaction to it.
Cabin fever was common in earlier times, particularly in the north & mountainous areas. When the snows would fall very deep, settlers could be stuck in little, one or 2 room cabins for months at a time. Some people would really lose their shit. I don’t think I’d want to be stuck in a room with another person, no tv, 1 or 2 books & nothing but the wait for it to thaw..Good times 😏
on LOST its mostly because of the electromagnetism's effects on their brains from the Island, due to time anomalies. It's not just "normal cabin fever"
Lost is just so good. It's brilliant how they can blow your mind without killing off any characters like so many shows do. It's just awesome storytelling. Also, I'm with Juliet on this one: Sun was a complete idiot.

So glad to see young people in 2019 loving Lost. I watched back when I was 18 all the way to the end. I didn't understand everything about it, I just mostly loved all the DHARMA stuff, but now I've been re-watching the series myself over the last few months and I'm full of nostalgia and memories and everything. I'm about to start Season 4.
cabin fever is the overwhelming feeling of being stuck. I had cabin fever when I was in college because I didn't have a car so I was stuck in my room 24/7 when I wasn't in class. It makes you feel very anxious and panicky.
Everyone did not hate Jin. I thought he was one of the more interesting characters from the start, like Shannon. They were portrayed as being "bad people" so I wanted to know more about them. And Juliet was doing everything necessary to save her patient (Sun) and the baby. Glad she had the determination to do what was right.
It’s September 18th and i was shocked to see the flashback/flash-forward plot twist i’ve cried with this show 5 times, with the Locke seen when his dad stole his kidney, when Hurley goes to Libbi’s grave, Charlie’s death, Hurley talking about him, the constant scene and now this is the sixth time 😢
Jin definitely deserved to know, but not like this. Juliet choosing to use the reveal as mere tool of manipulation was an A-grade bitch move. Its like using Jin's heart as a stick to beat Sun, as if Jin isn't human.

Wow I can't believe they reused the same actor as Michael for Kevin Johnston. Really breaks the immersion in the show. They should've cast someone else for a new character.
Why did you tell them it was a flashback? One of the best things about this show is that it makes you "Lost". This episode is fun and the twist is good but I wish Jin's flashback served for something meaningful other than being the fake hospital journey flashforward. What happened in the flashback doesn't have a real purpose to understand Jin's backstory/feelings/character/etc better, it's just there to trick us. If they wrote something meaningful for the flashback, for example related to Jin's dreams of having a daughter, Jin's hopes of having a family with Sun, etc... which simultaneosly trick us the same way, it would be much more effective and it would be one of the best episodes of LOST. This way it feels like just a gimmick. The episode is still good and fun but it would be at another level.
Might be me reading too much into it, but I felt it served to show that Jin was way too much into his work, going through all that trouble just to bribe an ambassador's family of a country your boss wants to do business with, when he's not even doing an eighth of that for his own family (although not exactly true), which helps reinforce the fact that he forgives his wife for cheating on him (because of said previous attitude)
@@groovemoustache Maybe, but we already knew Jin had a tough job physically, ethicly and mentally. Also, we knew it deeply changed him and effected his relationship with Sun. I don't think this adds more to it. And this flashback is pretty early in their marriage, it's been just a few months, so at the time things shouldn't be that bad yet. He doesn't seem to be broken yet. He looks pretty relaxed and happy after the job is done talking about his marriage. He implies it's early for the kid but he talks like he's in love and optimistic about the future of his marriage and family. He's appearantly NOT "the man" Sun cheated on yet.
Great reactions! Nikki’s reaction to Michael had me crying lmao. And agreed, Suraj, season four is a great season. Probably Lost’s peak. He doesn't seem to be broken yet. He looks pretty relaxed and happy after the job is done talking about his marriage. He implies it's early for the kid but he talks like he's in love and optimistic about the future of his marriage and family. He's appearantly NOT "the man" Sun cheated on yet.
@Charlie Chaman Lol I hope your not one of those dummies who thought they were dead all along
Rana and the mismatching socks.
This episode was sooo confusing, I thought at first Jin was alive and believe Sun was dead too.
You still need to watch the missing pieces.
This was epic!

Great reactions! Nikki’s reaction to Michael had me crying lmao. And agreed, Suraj, season four is a great season. Probably Lost’s peak. Five was still good (and there were some amazing episodes in i t) but you could tell it was going down hill from there. Not knocking season 6 or the ending though which I still liked. Just wasn’t as good as the stuff that came before.
Suraj: Sun has bitch slapped a few characters in this show...Smack animation. LOL
I love how Nikki after watching 4 and a half seasons is still going like dude wtf is this show
MY DANCE!!!!!!! Yes, finally :D
Rana you have a great reaction..thank you
