A lot of Eminem's success honestly was due to meeting Dre. Dre's production and direction on Em's first album is what made Em a star. Listen to Eminem's first EP and if he kept rhyming like that with his own beats he would've went no where.

Why is it corny? If you’re really into the hip hop culture, they have some good interviews. Steve Rifkind was the founder of Loud Records and had some popping acts like Mobb Deep, Raekwon, Big Pun in the 90s.
