There never has been a “war on Christmas” at least not politically. It was a bunch of businesses doing what businesses do to get more money. They stopped having “Christmas sales” started having “holiday sales” where they were selling “holiday” presents and “holiday” decorations to be more inclusive to non-Christians. And by “more inclusive,” I mean they were trying to breaking into a whole new customer demographic. Then a whole bunch of old right-wing Christians got mad because “it’s not like how it used to be back when I was a kid.” The idea that it was “the Leftists” pushing these ideas is just a talking point to rile up the uneducated. Would you believe that display and level of aggression was her first, second, third, or hundredth time? And none of those she got arrested for. Hence her blatant look of surprise.
