I ordered the DVD after I saw this video because I'm a huge fan of Norizuki Kouhei and I love Shakespeare plays. It was even better than I expected. I wish I could have seen it in person but traveling abroad was still difficult. I've already rewatched the DVD a lot of times! It was fascinating to see how Hamlet, Shakespeare's longest play, was adapted into a relatively short musical with only 5 cast members. I loved everything--the staging, costumes, shadow play, and music. The cast members' portrayal of different characters was amazing, there were so many quick changes in costume and character! I don't think I'll get tired of watching this musical. It's my favorite Hamlet adaptation now. Nori-kun's singing and acting here was really beautiful too so I was really happy watching him
Thank you for this digest video! I loved this show, it was beautifully done. The costumes, staging, artistic vision and actors are all superb. I hope to see more "5 Guys Shakespeare" productions in the future!
I know this play so well I didn't need English subtitles, however I am curious as to why the use of men in the female roles? I do understand these roles were played by men in Shakespeare's day, however was it a cultural choice or was it a beautiful choice made by the director? Well done, either way.
because the audience that attends this type of theater and follows these actors are only women. And the idea is that all the characters are covered by the boys who are going to see them perform. In addition, they are 2.5d idols (Very famous in their category in the anime theater ... And that is very consumed by women, not only from Japan, but from many parts of the world, being from Chile I consider myself one of them .)

音楽がyu(vague)さんなのとても良い…
