I wrote a fairly lengthy history and explanation about the town you asked about. Then, I pressed a wrong button, I suppose and whoosh it was gone. I had done a decent job of telling you more about my town and had visions of grandeur imagining your reading my writing and saying, "We must have her. No one else would ever do." Ah, well, that is life. But yes, it is Aiken, where the Green Boundary Club with the majolica is. Best of luck and glad to be of any help.
Yes, a really fun video. I knew it had it's beginnings in Majolica-but didn't realize the original Minton an Bowman had lead paint, but it stands to reason, with the dates. I know a members only lovely club in the rowen I'm in that took in th Winter Colony people, and then later, those who could afford and wanted to join, and they have a terrific collection of Majolica! It is a lot of fun to look out whilst sitting in a lounge, waiting on seeing time. Thank you.
There is marvelous, older place in my home town named The Green Boundary Club. It is there I saw the wonderful collection.
This is in Aiken?
“The 19th century is complicated.”
