They added a cool new feature where if you just push your Alexa talk button on your remote but don't say anything you are presented with quick options, smart home (the place you went to see your cameras but a lot quicker), weather, news, library. Once you tap any of those items it takes you to the correct location. This was added right after they updated the new GUI with the icons instead of the words. I just thought maybe someone would like to know this. Thanks for the videos brother!

Great video, thanks for the info. When navigating to setting if you go to the left you only have to press it once and you're there. When you go to the right you have to press it multiple times to get past all the mess on the top bar. Lol I've had 3 hand surgeries and the less pressing the better.

The fire stick is a streaming device, just like the Nvidia shield or the fire tv cube. I think in general when you hear "fire tv" its more than likely referring to the operation system that comes in the Amazon streaming device, Fire TV OS. .

I asked a Network Administrator about that setting. He told me that Changing from 5ghz to 2.4ghz may be needed when in an area that has more distance from the router. Also, it can make a difference if there is sound distortion in recording and playback from other devices.
4k max. Not much better then earlier versions. Acts up and requires frequent system restart. It is advertised as 8g but be warned that it has only about 5g available, much as the early versions. B4 4k technology is in full use it is not worth the extra money.

You are probably a couple updates behind. Keep going to the updat area and restart the device after it updates
