@@avforums still got my Panasonic plasma that I bought 13 years ago. Plays all day almost everyday, picture looks as good as the day I got it, and the TV looks beautiful, not just a screen without a frame.
Was just saying on Brian's channel that I still have 'til this day, the VT50 from 2012 and telling someone recently that I would never get rid of that TV since it's going strong still 12 years later. My favorite TV I ever owned and been wishing for Panasonic to bring their Oleds to the U.S. PANASONIC, WE'VE MISSED YOU ! NOW TAKE MY MONEY !
I know it's very niche, but I really like the support for retro cables (via an adapter) and the direct image feature, that integer scales 720p and 1080p to 4K. This is really nice for pixelart games and consoles that max out at 1080p, to retain crisp resolutions.
For the price they are GOATED simply cus of the fact that you get basically a budget-mid range soundbar for free lol so the value proposition is higher.
@@MSDOGS1976 Yes you can. I have a Google dongle in HDMI1 on my little kitchen FireTV. But it still constantly nags me for updates and remote control pairing and other sundries. I have Alexa all over and it’s been failing miserably as of late. So, what I really want is a dumb OLED TV. My main tv is now a Samsung OLED. Don’t get me going on the Tizen platform. And lastly and most importantly, I’m turning into an old curmudgeon.
Panasonic th dx600u 65inch Led I've still got is so accurate and detailed and it was so cheap to by back in 2016 2017 wish they stillade that technology And I don't know Why they would have stopped it all it was perfect ❤😊
Should I buy this Panasonic Z95A or LG G4? The LG G4 has anti glare reflection. Does the Panasonic Z95A do a great job with anti reflections from lights and windows in darker scenes?
That's one for you to answer as I can't tell you what to buy. Try and see them both before making a decision and head over to AVForums and read what owners think. Both the Panasonic Z95A and LG G4 have pros and cons and it will be which of those best match your needs. Good luck!
@@avforumsI bought the Panasonic 55ins Z95A yesterday. Truly outstanding. But yes, the LG g4 is fantastic and has many pluses. Whatever people choose out of the 2, they can’t go wrong. If people choose on sound it’s pretty obvious the Panasonic is top by a country mile. Specialist speakers and Dolby Atmos cranking out 160 watts. Cheers.
I am very disappointed to have discovered that the calibration out of the box is not up to par, this in my opinion is a serious thing! Panasonic has always been the best in this respect and I don't understand why they didn't live up to expectations this year.
I think for most people it won't be noticeable, for SDR and HDR delta errors still under perceptible threshold. It's just shows you the LG did an amazing job on the G4. Given this review and Vincent's were both happy with screen for cleaness and off angle tinting, that's probably more important. They still lived up to most natural image and dark scene handing which are kind of fundamental and harder to fix, unlike calibrating. Panasonic won't beat a QD-OLED on certain reference material. But I think for 95% of media already created , if will be a lovely cinematic image, nothing fatiguing or out of place, We really have TVs for all. Big screen monsters , bright rooms , great colour, extra pop etc . As a purists I'm happy to sacrifice some of that to just enjoy my library with a great filmic look - Films are emotions on a canvas - Plus in a few years I will upgrade my PC monitor to get WOW factor for games, and nature documentaries in the largest BT2020 I can get
forget about this ready calibration, a Panasonic connected next to an LG or Samsung, the Panasonic is much, much superior with a beautiful, sharp, detailed and bright image, because the Panasonic is on par with a Sony in image quality
@@nimblegoatTotally agree with you about the natural image and amazing shadow detail of Panasonic TVs. But Phil mentions delta errors above 3 in the video and says that it is noticeable in some content. Maybe only slightly noticeable and maybe not by everyone, but I think many who buy Panasonic expect better accuracy out of the box. Usually Panasonic is king in this regard and not needing calibration is one of the reasons to get a Panasonic. Other than that, this sounds like an amazing TV.
@@redrum_2k Yeah I raced through both video reviews think Vincent at HDTVtest were a bit better, A real shame, Then read Phils where saw I was wrong . LG if your priority is gaming. 4K@ 144 Hz with GSYNC looks incredible on my G4, driven by my PC with RTX 4090.
