FUN FACT: An adopt me team called 'Team Cosmic' actually did this, they were manipulating values and making these pets seem higher than they were, even planning on doing it on things such as undead jousting horse to trick players. Hope it helps ❤

But the caterpillar and diamond butterfly are actually hard to find in normal servers, but you can find a turtle or a cow in any server AND people it's okay with it? Also frost dragon it's so easy to get

They did it so they could trade theirs for absurd amounts of high value pets then get rid of all their inflated-value pets before the value inevitably crashes as people realize what is going on. From a morally right point of view it makes no sense but looking at it objectively it is clear as day why they selfishly did the price fixing

also a note on adopt me trading sites, i feel like people should stop using them for value tips, and instead go about and learning how value and demand is created, the sites are AMAZING for finding trades, but giving advice on them could let those sites be exploited easily
literally and it's so annoying when people don't even bother to actually learn the values because the site does it all for them, so they just become greedy and tell you to add when they know it's a win for them.
How do we ACTUALLY LEARN the values.. Nobody really do happy values like that cause that's literally how you lose A lot of pets

@user-nx5vb3fq9g : To say that this value specifically is broken is shocking is to say that adopt me had fair and justified values to begin with. To explain, people have been spiking and manipulating values since the 1st couple of gumball eggs. One prominent example is how owls are more valuable than parrots. This makes no sense as parrots are one egg earlier than that of owl. For a comparision, saying that owls are worth more than parrots is to say that T-rex is worth more than a turtle. This is extremely inaccurate as the turtle is worth 10x of T-rex in normal value. Why did the community not give an outcry when owl's values are spiked and exaggerated?
In my opinion, the outcry is completely exaggerated and needed to happen WAYY sooner. Another point is that adopt me does not own an official value system, the values are determined by the community and how they decide. If a massive group of players decides that the diamond butterfly is worth a frost dragon, and there is communities where this exchange happens. There is nothing we can do to stop them. For example: the person that cookie traded the diamond butterfly to would not trade it anything less than a frost dragon, otherwise they would be losing profit.
This is what we call market manipulation
It's only that if you don't have it if you did you would be happy

I think at this point,anyone could create and promote their own adopt me values website and spam create the same website over and over again but just change the name of the websites each time they duplicate the website,in this way people will be able to make their own values and destroy adopt me's values in their own way

I had exotics!! I did lose a lot of inventory trying to get these pets like caterpillars and I got older pets but I stopped after losing so many of my leg I could of made neon legs and I got extremely stressed so screw finding these lol
@@Pico983 actually in frost value, mega caterpiller is only worth 1.85 frost value, a bat dragon is worth 2.23, thats a mega win.
One day, I saw someone trading a normal caterpillar for an albino monkey and other adds.. (if I remember right).
@@cianfrescad6375 yep that seems more than reasonable, people within the community spiked certain pets. For example, people would gather MANY MANY catepillars and then spike its value wayy higher than it already is. They would then post and accept thousands insane offers (i.e catepillar for like a crow). This naturally inflates the value of the pet. Adopt me is prone to this type of inflation because adopt me does not have an offical value system, the value is decided by the community. Sites such as adopt-me wfl or tradiere has their own communities that follow values based on the wfl-website. Therefore it means that there is no excat value for a pet, if the majority of the community agrees that something is worth something, then its worth that thing.
Unfortunatly, as the people who stacked lots of catepillars that traded them all away for massive wins, they stopped spiking the value and offers, and slowly the value dropped again since no one is willing to trade for it anymore.
I thinks dopt me should make their own separate website on the real values of pets,people don’t know if the websites are real and then they could be getting a big loose.
Tbh I'm just gonna follow my heart like I traded 2 nfr kangaroos and a mega ride scarecrow crow for a fr crow ik I was over in value but happy inside
I honestly agree with jessie’s post, People should trade for the pets they like and enjoy playing the game instead of giving a specific “value” to pets/things.

this happens a lot on royale high with traderie - people create bots to mass create listings to SIGNIFICANTLY inflate the "Community value" of very high tier items. in royale high's case this would be halos. what i would do is to just calculate values based off your own experiences. if an item very suddenly SKYROCKETS in value, i would assume it was botted. usually it takes a bit for the value to go back down.
regardless, i wouldnt trust the community values that traderie gives. use the "recent trades" tab instead as it is usually more accurate.

I’m very sad that I didn’t play during the butterfly update since they’re one of my favorite animals. I stopped playing right after Japan egg was added so I never got to get the butterflies :( I’d love to have a neon diamond butterfly but with my current pets I wouldn’t be close lol
the butterfly update was early in the year sometime around spring 2022, so months before Japan egg came out!

I think a great update adopt me could add is in the trading license place they could add a value book where it shows what you could get for your pets maybe accurately and in my opinion I do trades that make me happy rather than using values and stuff but I completely respect people who use values I think it’s just hard to know which value sites to trust❤
People pls don’t trade a Frost for a Diamond Butterfly, I made the trade and then the value dropped i had to trade it for an owl lol so NEVER do this 😭🙏
If you made that trade earlier, you can flip it into a Shadow/Bat Drag easily, but now...? Nope- never 😭

Honestly IMO i think havig exotic pets is nice, most adoptme pets have “bad” value and demand, if we can have more high tier pets to try and get and aim more adoptme players will try and play harder for them instead of just having “randoms”, agree to disagree but i think it makes the game more interesting, if u dont like these pet’s then dont trade for them.
this sort of manipulation has happened since the cow and waterwalking potion incident.

I domt get why we need values, I have to trade so many pets just for one damn owl like what’s the need? my offer for an owl is like half of my inventory all because players are stupid enough to started having “ values “ .
The values are useful to help kids not get soaked by adults as much. Like, my kid can now see that trading ccbd for a ginger cat makes no sense. When you get down to nuanced trading, the trade values are pretty bad. Some just seem inaccurate too.
Adopt me needs to somehow show players how much of each thing there is, like mabey when you tap on them and see the facts about it, a part of it says," This number of them exist."

Hey cookie, I actually use one of those websites. I had a neon caterpillar ride only in return. I received three full grown cows and a fly potion and and ride potion and the trade was successful.
Jesses Twitter post really hits the mark for me. I trade pets based off what I like not what the “value” of one pet is. Iv had people offer me cows, pigs, frost dragons, and kangaroos but I decline because I don’t like those pets. Just because they are “valuable” doesn’t mean I want them.
Is this why someone offered me a caterpillar for my marsh plush and told me it worths a mfr leg but he'll accept for the marsh plush and adds?? I didnt even know their values so i didnt accept-

Yeah, it is pretty frustrating! I don't have a diamond butterfly nor a caterpillar, but I just think this is kind of stupid. Making a pet that you own worth more so you can get richer faster is not only mean to other ppl who are trading their good pets for it, but also making ppl who don't have it trade a lot for it. When in reality, it was never worth that much.

It’s so funny cuz in 2022 I thought it would be fun to try and catch a butterfly, so I used a golden leaf ( or whatever it was called ) and caught a Diamond butterfly first try 😂😂. I did end up getting a decent offer for it last year or sm but if someone would seriously had given me a frost for it I would have passed out lolz 😂

Hello guys this diamond butterfly mega has made me lose 16 frost dragons in value due to fast dropping in value it was at 20+ value and I decided to get one for my mega giraffe mega evil and mega turtle.. Next thing I know the person tells me it is gonna drop and proceeds to leave the server right now I am only worth 13 frost dragons in value it is sad to see the people at gg are abusing the values and using them for personal gain my theory is that they had mass amounts of these pets at the time and decided to raise them for good offers.
The same thing happened to me. i had a inventory value of 12 and i traded like 3 frost in total value for 2 diamond butterfly :(

I’m really sad because I think I was over because the cow is a really rare pet. very old so I don’t know.

Nobody would trade me because literally I think the cows worth a neon ride, strawberry shortcake, bat dragon I don’t know for sure and that’s what I was trying to trade it for, but nobody would trade me and I got desperate and I already knew that I was making a mistake. Adopt me needs to incorporate a values page in adopt me with a flat value of what each individual pet is worth it will kill out scammers and value influx this game has been around long enough to have this I don't understand how there allowing the nonsense to continue it makes the game not fun
