i honestly find this funny because bronya might be powercrept entirely as a dps buffer but she can still be used alongside sunday to advance him so he can advance the dps instead
Bronya eilodons are seriously good too her e1, e2, e6 is very nice and e4 has a decent chunk of useful cases in a fua team Also unlike sunday you can get her e1s1 completely free or maybe 30 pulls(1 selector, 1 300 pull 1 lc shop)
HSR has never been a balanced game, tbf. That's why they give more jades.... on paper. But you need way more resources than in Genshin and no stray piece builds. Farming is so much stricter.
I am honestly not surprised....if a DPS can be rendered useless in 2 patches then they can easily do the same for supports,all we can hope is that we don't get a new sunday every single patch

To me is that double DPS comps really dint took off as strong so it only left sparkle with mono-quantum teams but Seele has been at a big disadvantage for a long time. This may be why now Sparkle when to Honkai Impact 3rd recently to be meta. Still I'm experimenting with her in some teams with Sunday so I have an excess of Skill points to abuse and its been and improvement in my account.

Sparkle with Sunday is really anti synergistic. Why use sparkle with Sunday when Robin or any other harmony pairs better than her due to her buff not lasting 2 turns and just Only 50% AA
@@syidibuzzbuzz962 Because I dint pull for Robin and I'm currently experimenting with a hyper carry team (Jingliu, Blade or even Argenti) with Sunday, Sparkle and Luocha with the excess skill points using Sacerdos relic set to buff a single character. The 50% action advance of Sparkle still does the job for me.
The reason i think Sparkle fell off is because she is actually a balanced character. Compare her kit to how overtuned robin and sunday are, her kit is very conservative, 50% AA on single target, minor atk buff minor dmg buff until ultimate and then comes robin with 50% dmg buff, 1000+ atk, team wide 100% action advance and her own instance of damage after every hit. Sunday comes as a bronya, sparkle, tingyun hybrid with crit dmg, dmg boost, crit rate, energy regen AND more sp positive than Sparkle. Sparkle was doomed because hoyo wants every single harmony to be insanely busted but her kit is actually fair and balanced (comparatively). Fighting for my life to keep sparkle relevant in my team comps cause shes my favourite character but man. Sunday and robin just do it so much better she doesnt stand a chance. Sparkle cant compete till e2 if im being honest
@@owo4288 Bailu and Yanqing were already bad to begin with, Bailu was a generally better healer than Natasha but the lack of cleanse made Natasha better in a lot of situation while Yanqing was simply a bad DPS who got outclassed by the likes of Qingque and Seele.
Himeko still hasn't been powercrept. She just gets retroactively buffed by other characters. Fugue is on her way to becoming one of Himeko's best supports if you're using Superbreak Himeko.
Sparkle is one of the two pulls I regret getting-the other being Blade on his rerun since I was relatively new and didn’t know about the whole thing about not pulling rerun dps charas.
The powercreep along with hp inflation and the STUPID ANNOYING BANANA MONKEY BOSS is really making the game less fun. And at times I feel like I shouldn't even farm for months for the perfect build, because it's gonna be worse than the next dps with just a good build
Sparkle got powercrept by Robin not Sunday. Just like how Acheron create a whole new ceiling for DPS characters, Robin did the same but just for Harmony (u could also kind of count Ruan Mei on this). Sparkle, with the short buffs of atk plus crit damage and just 50% action advance, never stood a chance againts Robins 100% action advance, high eff ress (during her ultimate), increase crit damage (with skill) plus atk boost. Sparkle could be a decent harmony character if she has her E2, while Robin could just be viable at just E0 and espicially even more busted at higher eidolons. I know Sunday could buff and action advance summoner characters, but as it turns out he's not all that special since other supports with action advance in their kit could do it too. Which also includes Robin! Future harmony/support characters would later on being compare to Robin. It's to see if they (future supports) could provide what Robin can't. I mean why pull for other harmony (support) chracters when you could just focus on pulling on Robin's eidolons and signature lightcones. TL;DR The reason that there are powercreep in supports right now in HSR, is because of Robin. Like I don't know why the f*ck Hoyo didn't take one look at her and just released her as if she is a balanced chracter with her busted kit. 😐
I don’t have Robin and use Sparkle along with Sunday with Jing yuan and they work great. The massive amount of skill points and buff she provides is nice bonus
@c0rnflaek343 Sparkle + Sunday is really good with characters like DHIL, Argenti, and Qingque. You get these massive sp engines and lots of turn advance. Use ultimates on Sparkle turns and you get stacking buffs too.
Im still gunna use sparkle with e2 acheron and yes robin n sunday would be better but sparkle works better with the hacker set and thats important to me cause i need JQ to be hyperspeed with the wind set
My set up is the reversed version of yours. My sparkle went 160 spd with eagle set and DDD but my JQ have hacker. I have E2 sparkle, should I pull for sunday?
@CalmSmilingMan jq cant use 4 piece hacker though alot of people use 2 piece for the speed but wind set better if you can get enough speed. If you can get both on the wind set it's even better but extremely difficult.
I am reconsidering playing either after the Fugue banner (Sorry, I'm a sucker for fox girls) or 3.0. Which is a shame, I had a very strong Trails vibe from this game. Battle system with solid mechanics. Good presentation. There's an insane amount of talking, but Trails also has an insane amount of talking. So it's right up my alley. I feel I've gotten all the fun I could have from Divergent Universe, the endgame content is less fun with every patch, and I see no point in farming daily. Especially not when characters get powercrept so quickly given how long they take to build. It's especially weird given Sparkle's niche and what Sunday does, that Sunday is the unit that power creeps Sparkle. Gives me the impression that the designers don't know what to do. Feels like Sparkle is the DoT of supports. Getting a bit of gacha fatigue too because every single one of them seems to go in this direction 2-3 years in.
Check out Reverse 1999. It's a turn-based gacha with a very distinct art style, is story focused with lots of talking, has a combat system with more depth than HSR without being overcomplicated, has far less power creep at a much slower pace, and is going to buff older characters starting from patch 2.3 (some 1.0 characters will even become top tier meta again).
You need different teams to clear content. Sparkle is far from useless and she powercrept Hanya in 1 patch. Y'all are acting like she's Hanya now, especially when Sunday has a different niche with remembrance units. And Sparkle can go on the second team. Jesus, y'all weren't crying when it was Acheron and Firefly powercreeping. Or Robin, who powercrept Bronya hard. Sparkle hasn't been rendered useless and she can even use Sunday's lc.
tbh i have both sparkle and sunday highly invested with lc and eidolons but i still prefer sparkle for skill point hungry teams, isunday sounds great in theory but idk i feel like its lacking in practice, i find myself often running low on skillpoints unlike sparkle where that rarely happens
6:00 that's only with S1 and even then it doesn't stay consistent across all teams/game modes (for example teams running Huohuo that help Sparkle get her ultimate MUCH quicker), E0S0 Sparkle is a better skill point generator for most teams/game modes than E0S1 Sunday(So she needs less investment for about the same results if not better). Sunday doesn't truly surpass Sparkle in SP generation until E2S1. But until E2S1, whether or not S1 Sunday is more SP positive than Sparkle depends entirely on what kind of build you have on Sparkle (if you're using a Planar set bonus that gives her more energy regen or not), and what kind of characters you use alongside her(like Huohuo for example), and also what kind of enemies you're up against (how often they attack, and therefore how much more quickly you can regain ult) Edit: But yeah I will however say that Sunday's skill basically not using skill points when his ult is up (which is basically always since his ult uptime is so high without needing to try. The only time this doesn't apply is when you're running him with Dual DPS which, as of rn, isn't really the most viable option for him), and his Lightcone being released onto the live servers in the state it was in in the beta just simply isn't okay. Balancing is absolutely fucked for eternity if shit like this continues to happen and go through unchecked.
Fuxuan is still meta since she’s the only preservation character with decent damage reduction, and unless they decide to release a new one with straight up better armor then she won’t be easily powercrept
I think this will only get worst for her with the realise of amphoreus characters💀 I heard Castorice will be quantum so hopefully her best is slot will be sparkle. Copium aside i want to hear your take about how fast the teams are falling off, i mean DOT an mono elemental teams. I kinda see a pattern, hopefully my fua team can still clear future content. Castorice + Sparkle, would be slightly better than sunday, simply because of how her speed works with her kit. If you have S1 sunday tho, he might be equal to sparkle in that team.
Dot needs an entire game version full of new supports to bring it back to meta, just like what they did with break in Penacony. The game is still relatively new so I’m pretty hopeful that dot will be able to shine someday in the future.
@Franceee___ the current game modes work against DoT, having to wait on the enemies turns for the remaining triggers (outside of Kafka), means that unless ur team is incredibly invested you're wasting cycles just to setup

Why are we acting like sparkle was powercreept. She was garbage BEFORE Sunday. Her buffing is already weaker than bronya. On release she was just overhyped partly because how overturned RM was on release. And people looking at her being able to give 150~ crit damage to any ally. (Mind you this is EASILY over saturating the stat by herself) Sparkle isn’t even a relevant character until E2. But why the hell would you E2 sparkle when you can E1S1 Robin for cheeper mind you. The ONLY thing she had going for her was till end of turn buffing (Mind you bronya get this when duped up). So she was favored by lazy players and or characters who do multiple instances of damage. (I’m only really talking about seele here) As a sparkle fan. I can’t even defend her.
powercreep, at least from what i understand, is being directly replaced by a newer stronger unit who fills the exact same role, or at least a very similar one. she wasn't top tier, but she had uniqueness, being actually usable with acheron due to how her speed tuning works + her busted e2 synergy, and if you wanna consider less relevant characters, qq and dhil. now sunday is straight up better for these units (at least dhil and acheron, havent seen much on sunday qq), so the only place where she had a chance to be the best was taken by a new character
@ Acheron preferred bronya and almost every best case scenario uses Robin Jiao but they came out later. DHIL preferred E6 bronya for his best case scenario due to the fact that his E2 advances him forward for a second turn. Using sparkle here would result in a this turn being un-buffed. Only QQ and Seele I can probably say got crept. But even then it’s Erh. In seeles case it’s expected she just wants whatever can buff her up the most. And QQ same story honestly her gameplay is too RNG heavy to say it’s a skill point related thing. Sure Sunday is definitely more comfortable than sparkle for DHIL and QQ but she was already behind bronya for these characters. So I’m hard pressed to call it “powercreep”

I mean theyre different units. Id use sparkle over sunday for yunli any day of the week. Sunday is irritating to use with multiple characters because he wants to be speed tuned -1 meanwhile sparkle is just 161 speed.
@buzzduel I have e1 sparkle, forgot about that. Robin's energy regen in a Yunli team sucks imho. You may get higher per screenshot damage but e1 sparkle + ting is 100% buff uptime w plenty skill points for both yunli and ting

I always see people talking about how hard she’s been power crept but like… i don’t know. I still use her a lot.😅 Seven skill points, DDD, three turn ult that refresh’s SP, and 90+ CD has not gone out of style for me; and I have Robin as well as Sunday. Sometimes I even use her with one of them for crazy runs. For me, Sparkle had her own teams in mind and could take a majority of Bronya’s teams. Now that Sunday is here, he has his own teams archetype and can do Bronya’s. So now if endgame wants team teams that Bronya could’ve been apart of, she won’t cause one harmony is giving outright stronger buffs and the other is giving me 7 skill points and immediate crit damage or better dual dps clears.

I have to say, there are two reasons by Sparkle got powercrept so easily : - she's niche, in addition to that niche only including two dpses, both of which are powerecrept by now - she always SUCKED at her own niche As a person that got sparkle for DHIL, she was always difficult to play with him. Fuxuan is good for DHIL, she gives crit rate and makes playing him more comfortable since he's kinda squishy...Sparkle never allowed me to play Fuxuan with DHIL because the skill points would just run out and that's with the 4th team member being 100% sp positive (Pela). The only way I ever managed to have enough sp was by running Gallghar as the sustain but that has always felt stressful because my DHIL was always two inched away from death. What type of sp generator forces me to run an sp positive sustain or else run out of sp ?! So I will say this : "sparkle didn't get powercrept because newer supports are broken, she got powercrept because she was mid to begin with" If hoyo didn't purposfully gimp Hanya's kit during the beta, I assure you no one would have pulled Sparkle because Hanya's original beta kit was better than Sparkle's kit.

Because you need two teams. And two characters can have similar niches. You even answered your own question, Sunday will be best for remembrance units. Which means you'll want him on that team and Sparkle can go on the other. Some people in these comments need to just say they hate Sparkle/Sunday and go. This is so unnecessary.

Sparkle is one of Sunday’s best teammates. Put atk boots on DPS and tune Sparkle to 160+ spd with Sunday slightly slower than her. Sunday’s buffs last two turns so they stack with Sparkle, you have no SP issues, and no need to spd tune every DSP. Sunday buffs Sparkle, people are just too closed minded to realize it. And if you don’t have Sunday none of it matters. 🤷🏻♂️
Agree. Also, where was this screeching when Feixiao came out? She literally powercrept almost everyone. Acheron too but she is an emanator. Sunday will be BiS for summons so any team with them will want him. Sparkle will be able to go on the other team.

It's not just male units. I'd also add the best and most OP healer in the game until a 5* came is male (Gallagher.) Even then, you still need a sustain so it's not like he's useless, who doesn't want two Gallaghers? Firefly is a strong DPS but what does her release have to do with anything? Jiaqiou is also a very strong unit and support for Acheron, male unit. Moze is a decent FuA unit, also male. Just say you hate Firefly and go tbh. If you really wanted to talk about unbalanced, Acheron and Feixiao are that. I like them both but Firefly literally didn't do anything. Acheron and Feixiao are the top tier dps currently and the most unbalanced, yet you complain about Firefly. Interesting.
@fatuusdottore The content got a lot harder after her release, due to her being so overtuned, that's what I meant. By male characters I meant male DPS. I still use Sparkle too, but Sunday acts as a balance patch for 1.x era DPS. He needed to be strong. The only male DPS released in 2.0 is Boothill, and he has... issues. He's strong but extremely clunky and unfun to play, and there is rarely any endgame content that favors him. I used him against Cocolia this time for lack of anything better (JY was on the other side), and it worked, but took 14 tries to figure out the exact steps, do them with no mistakes, and dodge rng issues. But even so, he's one character. Since there aren't any other 2.x DPS who are both easy to play and carry, they had to massively buff the old ones.

the fact that Lightcone(Sunday's) got out of beta and onto live server in that state tells me Hoyo gives zero fucks about balance in this game

@@syidibuzzbuzz962 Because I dint pull for Robin and I'm currently experimenting with a hyper carry team (Jingliu, Blade or even Argenti) with Sunday, Sparkle and Luocha with the excess skill points using Sacerdos relic set to buff a single character. The 50% action advance of Sparkle still does the job for me.
The reason i think Sparkle fell off is because she is actually a balanced character. Compare her kit to how overtuned robin and sunday are, her kit is very conservative, 50% AA on single target, minor atk buff minor dmg buff until ultimate and then comes robin with 50% dmg buff, 1000+ atk, team wide 100% action advance and her own instance of damage after every hit. Sunday comes as a bronya, sparkle, tingyun hybrid with crit dmg, dmg boost, crit rate, energy regen AND more sp positive than Sparkle. Sparkle was doomed because hoyo wants every single harmony to be insanely busted but her kit is actually fair and balanced (comparatively). Fighting for my life to keep sparkle relevant in my team comps cause shes my favourite character but man. Sunday and robin just do it so much better she doesnt stand a chance. Sparkle cant compete till e2 if im being honest

@@owo4288 Bailu and Yanqing were already bad to begin with, Bailu was a generally better healer than Natasha but the lack of cleanse made Natasha better in a lot of situation while Yanqing was simply a bad DPS who got outclassed by the likes of Qingque and Seele.
Himeko still hasn't been powercrept. She just gets retroactively buffed by other characters. Fugue is on her way to becoming one of Himeko's best supports if you're using Superbreak Himeko.

Sparkle got powercrept by Robin not Sunday. Just like how Acheron create a whole new ceiling for DPS characters, Robin did the same but just for Harmony (u could also kind of count Ruan Mei on this).
Sparkle, with the short buffs of atk plus crit damage and just 50% action advance, never stood a chance againts Robins 100% action advance, high eff ress (during her ultimate), increase crit damage (with skill) plus atk boost. Sparkle could be a decent harmony character if she has her E2, while Robin could just be viable at just E0 and espicially even more busted at higher eidolons.
I know Sunday could buff and action advance summoner characters, but as it turns out he's not all that special since other supports with action advance in their kit could do it too. Which also includes Robin!
Future harmony/support characters would later on being compare to Robin. It's to see if they (future supports) could provide what Robin can't. I mean why pull for other harmony (support) chracters when you could just focus on pulling on Robin's eidolons and signature lightcones.
TL;DR
The reason that there are powercreep in supports right now in HSR, is because of Robin. Like I don't know why the f*ck Hoyo didn't take one look at her and just released her as if she is a balanced chracter with her busted kit. 😐
I don’t have Robin and use Sparkle along with Sunday with Jing yuan and they work great. The massive amount of skill points and buff she provides is nice bonus

@c0rnflaek343 Sparkle + Sunday is really good with characters like DHIL, Argenti, and Qingque. You get these massive sp engines and lots of turn advance. Use ultimates on Sparkle turns and you get stacking buffs too.

@CalmSmilingMan jq cant use 4 piece hacker though alot of people use 2 piece for the speed but wind set better if you can get enough speed. If you can get both on the wind set it's even better but extremely difficult.

Which is a shame, I had a very strong Trails vibe from this game. Battle system with solid mechanics. Good presentation. There's an insane amount of talking, but Trails also has an insane amount of talking. So it's right up my alley. I feel I've gotten all the fun I could have from Divergent Universe, the endgame content is less fun with every patch, and I see no point in farming daily. Especially not when characters get powercrept so quickly given how long they take to build.
It's especially weird given Sparkle's niche and what Sunday does, that Sunday is the unit that power creeps Sparkle. Gives me the impression that the designers don't know what to do. Feels like Sparkle is the DoT of supports.
Getting a bit of gacha fatigue too because every single one of them seems to go in this direction 2-3 years in.
Check out Reverse 1999. It's a turn-based gacha with a very distinct art style, is story focused with lots of talking, has a combat system with more depth than HSR without being overcomplicated, has far less power creep at a much slower pace, and is going to buff older characters starting from patch 2.3 (some 1.0 characters will even become top tier meta again).

You need different teams to clear content. Sparkle is far from useless and she powercrept Hanya in 1 patch. Y'all are acting like she's Hanya now, especially when Sunday has a different niche with remembrance units. And Sparkle can go on the second team. Jesus, y'all weren't crying when it was Acheron and Firefly powercreeping. Or Robin, who powercrept Bronya hard. Sparkle hasn't been rendered useless and she can even use Sunday's lc.
tbh i have both sparkle and sunday highly invested with lc and eidolons but i still prefer sparkle for skill point hungry teams, isunday sounds great in theory but idk i feel like its lacking in practice, i find myself often running low on skillpoints unlike sparkle where that rarely happens
6:00 that's only with S1 and even then it doesn't stay consistent across all teams/game modes (for example teams running Huohuo that help Sparkle get her ultimate MUCH quicker), E0S0 Sparkle is a better skill point generator for most teams/game modes than E0S1 Sunday(So she needs less investment for about the same results if not better). Sunday doesn't truly surpass Sparkle in SP generation until E2S1. But until E2S1, whether or not S1 Sunday is more SP positive than Sparkle depends entirely on what kind of build you have on Sparkle (if you're using a Planar set bonus that gives her more energy regen or not), and what kind of characters you use alongside her(like Huohuo for example), and also what kind of enemies you're up against (how often they attack, and therefore how much more quickly you can regain ult)
Edit: But yeah I will however say that Sunday's skill basically not using skill points when his ult is up (which is basically always since his ult uptime is so high without needing to try. The only time this doesn't apply is when you're running him with Dual DPS which, as of rn, isn't really the most viable option for him), and his Lightcone being released onto the live servers in the state it was in in the beta just simply isn't okay. Balancing is absolutely fucked for eternity if shit like this continues to happen and go through unchecked.

Castorice + Sparkle, would be slightly better than sunday, simply because of how her speed works with her kit. If you have S1 sunday tho, he might be equal to sparkle in that team.
Dot needs an entire game version full of new supports to bring it back to meta, just like what they did with break in Penacony. The game is still relatively new so I’m pretty hopeful that dot will be able to shine someday in the future.
@Franceee___ the current game modes work against DoT, having to wait on the enemies turns for the remaining triggers (outside of Kafka), means that unless ur team is incredibly invested you're wasting cycles just to setup

She was garbage BEFORE Sunday.
Her buffing is already weaker than bronya. On release she was just overhyped partly because how overturned RM was on release. And people looking at her being able to give 150~ crit damage to any ally. (Mind you this is EASILY over saturating the stat by herself)
Sparkle isn’t even a relevant character until E2. But why the hell would you E2 sparkle when you can E1S1 Robin for cheeper mind you.
The ONLY thing she had going for her was till end of turn buffing (Mind you bronya get this when duped up). So she was favored by lazy players and or characters who do multiple instances of damage. (I’m only really talking about seele here)

powercreep, at least from what i understand, is being directly replaced by a newer stronger unit who fills the exact same role, or at least a very similar one. she wasn't top tier, but she had uniqueness, being actually usable with acheron due to how her speed tuning works + her busted e2 synergy, and if you wanna consider less relevant characters, qq and dhil. now sunday is straight up better for these units (at least dhil and acheron, havent seen much on sunday qq), so the only place where she had a chance to be the best was taken by a new character
@ Acheron preferred bronya and almost every best case scenario uses Robin Jiao but they came out later.
DHIL preferred E6 bronya for his best case scenario due to the fact that his E2 advances him forward for a second turn. Using sparkle here would result in a this turn being un-buffed.
Only QQ and Seele I can probably say got crept. But even then it’s Erh.
In seeles case it’s expected she just wants whatever can buff her up the most.
And QQ same story honestly her gameplay is too RNG heavy to say it’s a skill point related thing.
Sure Sunday is definitely more comfortable than sparkle for DHIL and QQ but she was already behind bronya for these characters. So I’m hard pressed to call it “powercreep”

You would get better results with Robin and Tinggyun over Sparkle for Yunli. Her ulti uptime is too low.
@buzzduel I have e1 sparkle, forgot about that. Robin's energy regen in a Yunli team sucks imho. You may get higher per screenshot damage but e1 sparkle + ting is 100% buff uptime w plenty skill points for both yunli and ting

Seven skill points, DDD, three turn ult that refresh’s SP, and 90+ CD has not gone out of style for me; and I have Robin as well as Sunday. Sometimes I even use her with one of them for crazy runs.
For me, Sparkle had her own teams in mind and could take a majority of Bronya’s teams. Now that Sunday is here, he has his own teams archetype and can do Bronya’s. So now if endgame wants team teams that Bronya could’ve been apart of, she won’t cause one harmony is giving outright stronger buffs and the other is giving me 7 skill points and immediate crit damage or better dual dps clears.

I have to say, there are two reasons by Sparkle got powercrept so easily :
- she's niche, in addition to that niche only including two dpses, both of which are powerecrept by now
- she always SUCKED at her own niche
As a person that got sparkle for DHIL, she was always difficult to play with him.
Fuxuan is good for DHIL, she gives crit rate and makes playing him more comfortable since he's kinda squishy...Sparkle never allowed me to play Fuxuan with DHIL because the skill points would just run out and that's with the 4th team member being 100% sp positive (Pela).
The only way I ever managed to have enough sp was by running Gallghar as the sustain but that has always felt stressful because my DHIL was always two inched away from death.
What type of sp generator forces me to run an sp positive sustain or else run out of sp ?!
So I will say this : "sparkle didn't get powercrept because newer supports are broken, she got powercrept because she was mid to begin with"
If hoyo didn't purposfully gimp Hanya's kit during the beta, I assure you no one would have pulled Sparkle because Hanya's original beta kit was better than Sparkle's kit.

Because you need two teams. And two characters can have similar niches. You even answered your own question, Sunday will be best for remembrance units. Which means you'll want him on that team and Sparkle can go on the other. Some people in these comments need to just say they hate Sparkle/Sunday and go. This is so unnecessary.

Sparkle is one of Sunday’s best teammates. Put atk boots on DPS and tune Sparkle to 160+ spd with Sunday slightly slower than her. Sunday’s buffs last two turns so they stack with Sparkle, you have no SP issues, and no need to spd tune every DSP.
Sunday buffs Sparkle, people are just too closed minded to realize it. And if you don’t have Sunday none of it matters. 🤷🏻♂️

It's not just male units. I'd also add the best and most OP healer in the game until a 5* came is male (Gallagher.) Even then, you still need a sustain so it's not like he's useless, who doesn't want two Gallaghers?
Firefly is a strong DPS but what does her release have to do with anything? Jiaqiou is also a very strong unit and support for Acheron, male unit. Moze is a decent FuA unit, also male. Just say you hate Firefly and go tbh. If you really wanted to talk about unbalanced, Acheron and Feixiao are that. I like them both but Firefly literally didn't do anything. Acheron and Feixiao are the top tier dps currently and the most unbalanced, yet you complain about Firefly. Interesting.

I still use Sparkle too, but Sunday acts as a balance patch for 1.x era DPS. He needed to be strong.
The only male DPS released in 2.0 is Boothill, and he has... issues. He's strong but extremely clunky and unfun to play, and there is rarely any endgame content that favors him. I used him against Cocolia this time for lack of anything better (JY was on the other side), and it worked, but took 14 tries to figure out the exact steps, do them with no mistakes, and dodge rng issues.
But even so, he's one character. Since there aren't any other 2.x DPS who are both easy to play and carry, they had to massively buff the old ones.
