This combo is IMPOSSIBLE on stick... or is it?

- Plenty of people challenged me to perform the Oro instant stun combo on arcade stick rather than hitbox. Ironically, I learned it on stick first. Less complaining, more practice goes a long way.

Repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and you will have eternal life 🙏✝️🙌❤️
@papapower5209 no thanks, I've seen enough.
@papapower5209 Nah, I can't condone the actions your god claims to have taken.

And also it’s important to know it’s ok to not be able to do things.
I find it so weird that many who make excuses on why they aren’t good at a video game but wouldn’t dream of making the same excuses for not being able to do something like play a guitar, weld, be good at a sport.
It’s perfectly normal not to be able to be great.
For so long I've been avoiding characters that I found cool in video games because I couldn't do their "hardest frame perfect impossible techs" and that was frustrating, but now I accepted the fact that it is normal and that those things are considered hard for a reason, and that is a relief ! So I totally agree with you !
I play tekken 7 a lot. Steve's my main and with life for me is now, without a lot of time to practice stuff, I resigned myself from learning shiro combo. Probably one, if not the hardest staple combo in t7. I just play with what I can do right now and it's been fun so far.
People just get mad whenever someone has an advantage over them, like their character or controller. We are adults now, noone has time for that. Pick a top tier grab a hitbox or stop complaining. Me, I'm lazy as fuck and I'm sticking to my wack characters and Sega pad. My loses are my own unwillingness to adapt.
@@freeizzy8395 it’s not that. It’s actually making the excuses in the first place. They wouldn’t make an excuse for someone being faster at running. Being better at the drums. Wallpapering. But for games they bring the book of excuses out.
@@Basin79 Those example have very little to do outside the person. Fighting games remind me of skateboarding were there are less and more optimal boards for different types of skating. You are at a disadvantage if you use a freestyle board for vert but that is the choice you made so you shouldn't get mad at the very skater being as optimal as possible. And I think people get mad when they hit a wall (even if they can improve) and hate on people who surpassed the wall using more optimal character, hardware, etc. To them it may feel like unearned progress so they complain and use "loyalty" to protect their ego. Give them some time and they will eventually accept themselves as is or chose to do better. They are probably mad young.
What Brian was tryna say in this is STOP PRACTICING BEING A KEYBOARD WARRIOR ONLINE AND HIT THE TRAINING ROOM
but what if I play on keyboard
I was confused at first because I play on keyboard haha
Umm. I play with a keyboard. Hahaha
Then stop being a chat warrior 😜
@@maxownzor2thelawnmower776 Just a ghetto (or OG depending on how you like at it) hitbox.
Keep on labbing!
The controller doesn't determine a player's performance. It just determines which bones, tendons and muscles is he/she tearing up in the process 😅
Yeah I have to take breaks from time to time for rest because KBDs mess up my thumb.
factsssss
So true. All (hitbox, keyboard, pad, sticks and whatever else) still damage your hand. Just different parts of it lmao
This is so true

Quality, polite, ruthless trash talking

Top players: “I switched cuz I can walk and block better”
He’s so passive-aggressive, I love him.
This is insane! Not only am I impressed with the execution, I'm just impressed that you can memorize such a long long string
Controller are all about comfort - I grew up with mainly consoles, so even when I tired using an arcade stick it just didn’t click. Ended up with a traditional controller that has 6 face buttons, and it just feels so natural to me
I wish these video existed when I was learning how to play sf4. Don’t get me wrong there were videos, but these are just masterpieces with inputs and hand camera!
Sonicfox plays with a playstation controller 🗿🗿🗿 Amazing how ppl say dumb stuff like 'cheatbox'
That Tbag was personal
best fighting game content creator out there 👏 always a joy to see these videos going around
Right on, fundamentals are key
The Controller Does Not Make the Player
Say it again. And Again. And Again.
He speaks like a father because everyone complaining are children
“NoW dO iT wItHoUt A mOnItOr BeCaUsE SeEiNg YoUr OpOnEnT iS cHeAtInG”
Okay.....in Gaming terms he's politely saying...."GET GOOD SCRUB"!!! 😂😂😂
I mean shit ngl I'd rather something tell me to get good the way he did as opposed to just saying GIT GOOD/GET GOOD ngl. 🤣🤣🤣
"It's easy on cheat box!"
My brother if your hands moved as fast as your mouth you'd be an evo champ. Skill issue.
This is the most intelligent roast I’ve heard thus far 😂😂😂
You also dont need to know how to do these insane combos to win matches. I suck at doing combos but I still take games. People look for any excuse to blame something else for them losing lol. This hitbox debate needs to stop lol.
More often than not unless it is something like the combo in the video where it guarantees the stun, super long combos are more for flash not because they are actually optimal due to scaling, and will never make up for good fundamentals.
49:28 Not the whole squad thinking the same 😭
Hitbox does make a lot of execution easier in terms of motion inputs, but at this level, it seems more about timing and tight links than just being able to do a motion input easier.
Amen it's the fight in you that makes you a warrior PRACTICE AT LEAST A HOUR A DAY SHEESH 😂
In short....."Get good scrub"
you can really tell Brian got a full time job because this is the most professional "skill issue, go touch grass" I've ever seen.
Bro really gave a professors level explanation on why they are the problem. 😂
I have a hard time doing it on pad, but I think Broski does it in pad, so I don't complain.
At EVO SF6 Grand Finals 2023 Menard used a controller and to this day that set was the most hype thing I’ve ever bared witness to
What a great way to say git gud
Bruh Oro is a nuts character and you're definitely the craziest Oro I've seen.
Its so confusing to watch people argue about how the controller makes things easier LOL
Something people forget is that hitbox control pads actually do make some playstyles and options possible that would be impossible on any arcade stick or controller, this is especially apparent when you face a charge character with a hitbox pad like Guile.
Most optimal way to play
I hear it's possible to press 2 buttons at once. So charged moves come out faster.
off topic but I will try your hand grip on the lever!
My boy Brian got in y'all asses without even raising his voice
You addressed so maturely and insightful. Big respect
It's just mucle memory..I am 30 so I grew up in an arcade playing fighting games I have thousands of hours on a stick. I know people who got into fighting games. With this last gen of games like tekken7 and saw what I was doing and went out and bought a 200$ stick just to put it down because it literally made them lose 6 ranks and didn't put the time into it and went back to control
This game became so good looking. Im sorry i never really ended up playing it.
Luffy who won EVO on a fucking PS1 Pad
👀
Its important to use what's comfortable. Most peripherals can be hard on the hands and wrists. It's worth it to get something that eases the tension.
yeah whatever. try using a Spongebob Plug & Play then talk to me scrub.
☠️
ok, now try it one handed
desk could do that
Quality RUclips shorts content, man. Nice adaptation to the algorithm mixup
I like watching you do it on a stick because I can't understand wtf is going on when I watch people use hitboxes, lol.
Ppl don’t like striving to be better. They want the fast food route to success rather than putting the work in to accomplish a goal.
He just politely gassed them
I've played on all 3 controller types. Agree 100%.
Brian F mic drop my goat
Max should try this challenge
Sheesh. Throwin mad shade
100%. People need to stop whining and start playing. People always make excuses for eeeeeverything. And now with controller/hitbox/stick options, everyone has even more excuses. Play on a remote if it suits you, makes no difference. If you learn it and are good, you are good. Simple.
I play arcade stick. Not because its better. Not because its worse. Not because of the few advantages it has here or disadvantages there. But because I enjoy the feeling of it. For me stick is always so much fun. And that is all I need to play. Have fun. Everyone is so consumed by excuses, competition, comparisons, and ultimately the funniest of all, going pro and always pointing to that example. Most of you aint never going pro. Chillax already.
Have fun people. Get good on whatever hardware tickles your fancy. Get good having fun. And enjoy matches with equally skilled people. That is what FGs should be. Its rather simple. Stop making it so confusing. It is not. As you get better, well, you will naturally land where you belong in the whole scene of things. And that is all there is to it. If you go pro in the end, you go pro. If you were never meant to go pro, you never wasted your time in the first place because you played to have fun and that is all that counts.
Which brings us to the last point too. If you ain't having fun in a game and always btching and whining about everything in it...... maybe that game is not for you. That is ok. Stop wasting your time and find something you enjoy.
Guys I own a $400 hitbox-style controller with the fastest actuations possible. I still lose to people on controller. He’s right if you fundamentally suck you’ll just play like me. If anything pick the controller that ergonomically works for you.
Man, i miss playing oro
the tbag for those who doubt
TELL EM BRIAN
Yeah but your thumb will look like Swiss cheese performing that on a normal controller
I've used an arcade stick just to try it and it's actually harder to use than a normal controller. For me at least.
LET EM KNOW BRINE!!
S/O Rizzy keeping KoF XV alive. And send the link to the music you made back in the day. Looked on apple music and only found 2 songs
Wish we could do combos like this in sf6

arcade stick is still the best IMO. it might not have the shortcuts that hitbox gives you access to, but arcade stick feels the most natural and intuitive.
fun fact: a bunch of these shortcuts are game dependant; for example I was using a lot the walking ca shortcut in V to do ca hit confirms just to learn that it wont work in 6 and that I essentially wasted time building situational muscle memory instead of learning a universal method that is transferable into other games
@@giorgionelingria walking ca shortcut? You mean a macro??
@@PomadaGaming nope, you just tap down back twice while keeping pressed forward and you can walk a bit while inputting the ca
it also works with cancels so you can integrate it in your combos
The hitbox is the future. People who are still hanging on to arcade sticks will eventually be left behind. What you call shortcuts are what will be the norm in a few years. Only people that cannot see what is coming won't evolve now to avoid struggling to catch up later.
@@pjbpiano I believe there is a trade-off. Pressing individual buttons for directional input puts a greater load on your mental stack than moving a joystick. On hitbox I have to focus on making my clumsy fingers press the right directions. On stick I don't think about input at all and can devote my entire brain to playing the game.
He just called you trash
Quite simply - that was beautiful to watch!
Hilarious told y'all to got off your phones and practice 😂
i found the same short six months later. still a really cool combo.
if i dedicated the rest of my life to do this and only this i would still fail
Nah you could do it man
I know Smug would get Salty turkey neckbone if he watches this combo.
Damn B...way to tell those lackies with class and eloquence, simultaneously visually making the fuhckin point. Best STFU video I've ever seen 👍🏾👍🏾
Yeah Brian talk to em 💯😂 it’s not the stick ,it’s the player, I tell people this all the time
Me watching his hands input the combos, yea I ain’t built for this lol some things you gotta leave to the professionals 😂
Damn that roast is a good combo finisher
found the same short 10 months later. still a cool combo
So you can mash inputs between links in SFV?
The only difference I have when using my arcade stick is that I could do King's running air grab during a combo easier compared to using a controller in Tekken Tag 2 and Tekken 7, but I found it more comfortable to use the controller when I played in a tournament.
Honestly might just get a hit box.
I love stick for the buttons being so much better than pad, but the lever MURDERS MY GODDAMN FINGERS.
I started playing street fighter on a standup arcade and that is the controls layout I will stick to
Glory be to the Arcade Stick
Love the tbags at the start now lol
LMFAOOOOOOO he's cooking
"some of the best players use default playstation controllers."
"also bad players cry about the type of controller others use and claim theirs has a disadvantage rather than recognising their own skill issues"
Wait till the people that call it a cheatbox get old. I just switched to mixbox, and I don't get numb as fast as I do on stick. Years of typing I would think the opposite, but it def helps ease the aches and pains. I have trouble with playing handhelds, and regular controllers as well. So only thing it does for me is let me play longer, and I'm little better because I'm used to keyboard. It's not like you're instantly better on leverless.
Ridge racer type 4 ost 😎😎😎
Dang cooked em to a crisp
Thank you. I get shitted in my locals on using a Keyboard/Mixbox It was something I grow up and had it available only.
Not playing fighting games because you can’t do a frame frame perfect combo is like not playing basketball cause you can’t make every half court shot. “Basketball would be fair if everyone could make half court shots, the skill floor is too high”
lol he put some extra spice on the end due to the scrub takes.
BARS!
Still remember winning my first mk11 tourney with just joycons
I thought it’d be funny
Yea when people come over and find out I'm really into fighting games they always want to challenge me to something but as soon as they see my 4 arcade sticks it's like "nah you're cheating if you use that" dude I'm clapping you on both just run the set
really cool combo
Thank you for this!!
I remember this combo he did a shorter version on me during a tournament 😢
Brian stays winning
Unless you have massive hands. My hands are straight up too big for a standard ps4 pad.
ergonomics then
Square or octagonal?
That Oro oh my goodness 🙊
Thank you for mentioning D-PADS!!!
People complaining about leverless aren't smart enough to use one.
What you have to remember, is that we live in a era where kids throw tantrums for getting combo'd in a corner and call that cheating too.
Few more years and throwing a punch midscreen will be classified as toxic game play.
yeah, the controller dont make the player the light knee +3 no pushback does lol
