That voiceline with Ayaka is kinda sad when you put it into perspective, especially given Ayaka's whole situation. Would honestly like to see a little story quest around that.

I’m pretty sure , They literally have conversations even after the kick out happen . They know each other really well . But interesting thing is She meet Ayaka before the disaster struck on Kamisato clan & judging the words , They literally play with each other most of the time but sweetest thing is how Chiori sneaks into Kamisato clan to play with her always . I have a feeling just after She got kicked out , Disaster struck arc happened . But who the hell kick her out ?

I'm pulling for C2 for my Itto cause he'll take longer to rerun. If I somehow get lucky though, will definitely try and pick up Chiori too.
I think the lack of Ayato is meant to show shes more closer to Ayaka. Sure Ayato is the Yashiro Commissioned, but for all we know thats all she knows him as. The beef she has with him could be that she doesnt know much about him. She know more about Ayaka because shes the one in the public eye, Ayato is more in the shadows.
Chiori is more familiar with Ayaka (acquaintance at least dont know if they know each other on a friend level and it seems Chiori left Inazuma when she was a bit young).
Chiori left Inazuma during the Sakoku decree .
She knows Ayaka & Ayato well .
@@sentience3033also it’s literally said that Ayaka is the face of the clan and is more publicly known during events and the likes while ayato works in the shadows.
So overall it wouldn’t make much sense because outside of high ranking figures like Sara and yae ittou is the only other person who’d know him like that
Is she a Shuumatsuban who's assigned in Fontaine? Kinda hard to think she's just an ordinary fashion designer when lorewise she's known to send customers flying out of her shop. There's a voiceline of other who also said that even scary people with big sword pays her respect and bring gifts when visiting her premise. She's also known to work on intel together with Chevreuse.
Kinda makes me think that Ayato send her to Fontaine to watch over things, considering for a nation kept stagnant by its own ruler, the most dangerous threat for them is a nation who keeps advancing their technology. It's also kinda fishy that when the border is finally opened, the first nation that Ayato tries to establish diplomatic relation is Fontaine rather of their direct neighbors like Mondstadt or Liyue. Their interactions also kinda fishy, like two people pretending to not know each other even though we can see they have some kind of connection

Chiori invited both Ayaka & Ayato to take part in this film festival & be an actor . The Kamisato siblings takes the advantage of the situation & try to establish connection with Fontaine which is having a discussion with Neuvillette which is supposed to be Ayaka’s work but Ayato handle it & let Ayaka take some rest .
Chiori is born in Family of merchants .

Chiori and Ayato were not acquainted before the Fontinalia Festival. Ayato mentions that he did see her play with Ayaka a few times but the were never really close. If she infact was part of the shuumatsuban then frequent letters would be sent to Ayato making them acquaintances.

Anyone wondering why Chiori only talks about Ayaka but not included Ayato. She meet Ayato during the event from the film event for the first time, but ayaka meet her from the kamisato clan.
Chiori haven't meet Ayato because she discorver by the Tenryou Commission while Ayaka and Chiori talk each other since they where children. Ayato maybe busy doing practice from his parents I think? I mean he is the eldest one like practicing fighting, business, education, diplomatic or anything important before he become the heir of the Kamisato Clan. Ayaka seems he was a child like a small child and included chiori too.
Just remember about chiori talks about Kamisato Ayaka. She have meet it from Temari close to the Kamisato Commission

It's weird that she has nothing to say about Ayato since they have some history together or at least a beef. Would like to know what happened between them.
Maybe was him who kicked her out and that's why she isn't in good terms with him, there is also a theory of her being part of Ayato's ninja group (the same group where Sayu is in) maybe something happened to her

@@Kaze.251Ayato and Chiori seem to know each other well even though her voicelines seems to suggest that she and Ayaka never met again after being found out. Plus, Chiori is always talking about having her own path and not following societal norms so she could very well have continued afterwards

Emilie's character seems like a good draft for a dendro character. I wouldn't be surprise if she also have the same technique as tighnari where she can throw something that would enemy attacks wont hit her but that would be a bit lame cause its another copy n paste skills...
Wow she really got screwed in terms of being made playable - being released just before the likes of Neuvillette, Kazuha and The Knave -, not only that if you didn’t play the event, you’ll have no feel for her as a character - even then she was barely in it - but having said that she’s somewhat interesting as a character if only for the fact that she comes across as what a person would realistically look and act like if they were a workaholic or if just worked in a very demanding environment I.E like she’s about to keel over and comes off as a less grouchy Squidward.
This would be like a movie theater showing the likes of X-Men, Hulk and Spider-Man alongside the likes of a d tier character like Stilt Man.
Exactly this is probably how ppl feels thats why they said she gives 4 star vibe. She gives 5 star vibe, aesthetic wise, design wise, and personality wise, its justg thatt she has no involvement in the main storyline thats why she was called "4 star"

@@amari7782I find that really awkward but Genshin has a tendency to try and make all the characters likable to each other if they’re not friends they’re way to amicable with each other.
@@thomasraines1396 it is very awkward but at the same time if we use inazuma as an example it’s one of the more devoted to its archon ( literally the entire reason the fatui was able to get away with all this was cuz of a twisted devotion) so someone like kazuha would at least respect her opinion especially given the fact that his friend chose to do what he did.
Now as for literally anything else I got nothing, overall genshin has to appeal to a wider audience so they refuse morally grey characters ( outside of Ei and scaramouche) or outright evil characters. Which really hurts it’s character writing because you’re either a sasslord like tighnari and chiori, cardboard like Ayaka and nilou, or insert tragic backstory ( too many examples) it’s kinda why I just stopped giving a shit about character personalities unless they really wow me

And yeah it really sucks, they want to appeal to a lot of people and in trying to do that they stretch themselves to thin if that makes sense. I saw someone describe the phenomenon pretty well: a lot of the personalities are copy/pasted, the only thing that sets them apart is backstory.
I would applaud them if they built a character in the vein of Jonah Hex or Hellblazer John Constantine but they would never do that.
Even the shadier characters like Rosaria and Yelan are written off as cool.
@@thomasraines1396 the problem is that a lot of the backstories tend to just explain why they act the way they do but at the same time since we rarely get to showcase characters outside of specific events you’re not going to see much past surface lvl characteristics.
Not to mention most characters wont really get too much development like Eula who’s basically stuck in purgatory you’re kinda just stuck with what u get

HP draining is good when Fontaine has an artifact literally designed around it (one of the best artifacts in the game). HP drain has not been a bad thing, like, ever. Even for Xiao. So calling Arlo worse than Chiori’s kit is laughable
