@@pegintx It was such an endearing film. I'm currently reading King's latest book Fairy Tale and the relationship between the man and boy is reminding me of Ted and Bobby. The dynamic is similar.

Great film. Hopkins makes it look so effortless. I think he does his homework before showing up on the set.....so there's never of problem with him being prepared.
Just saw this film. Tony shines in whatever he does. He told me himself, it's just work. We met once in Charleston, SC. Can't wait to see The Father

If you like this movie, try field of dreams and perfect world. Similar themes and all excellent under the radar movies.
Absolutely agree with you. I saw this at the theater with my ex and got very emotional...don't usually do that. one of the better Stephen king movies by far. I almost forgot about it and wish more people could see it
I love this movie, but I don't like Field of Dreams at all. Haven't seen Perfect World. Field of Dreams wasn't under the radar. It was crazy popular way back in the late 80s when it came out.

It's hard to watch these older interviews where the interviewer isn't very bright and is outclassed, not knowing what questions to ask a distinguished actor.
Itsa classic flick. That hits the soul for the true ones.
