I love him and his brotherly relationship with Jubilee is so sweet along with his bromance/rivalry with Wolverine is awesome
And his love for Rogue is so beautiful
The rouge will they won't they romance was one of the only ones I could ever get behind in that series. All the other one seems very forced, where with rouge and gambit I wanted them to force it haha
His relationship with Jubilee marrow and x23 shows how gambit is a good big brother.
Bromance? smh todays generation so gayed out. They were buddies thats not romance or similar smh. Loser generation
@@lordoffaiyum9727 sigh, Gosh, just leave people to their own opinions. And what gayed out. Bromance Isn't the same. Oh wow, did you just delete the comment-
Gambit is unique among mutants. He has innate mutations like increased strength, agility, and endurance. He is severely underrated.
Underestimated actually.
Exactly! it always bugs me when people think he just throws exploding cards. Some of them even think the cards explode by themselves like a handy gadget.
Borderline GOAT
@@testickles8834he is the goat
Heck yeah he’s my favorite X-Men member hands down
Facts
My favorite X Men of all time
Same! I have a tattoo of him
It’d be your favorite x-man singular not the plural x-men.
My favorite, as well. Definitely the most complex and engaging members of the team.
Faxx him legion and havoc
Thanks bro
Gambit, when written by Chris Claremont, is one of the best characters in Marvel.
Agreed
I am an avid reader of many genres, and yet Gambit remains - as he was during my childhood - my favorite fictional character.
HALLELUJAH!!!!
One of my favorite characters, Gambit should be allowed a solo movie
Gambit is actually Omega Level, his abilities were reduced when he asked Mr Sinister, to remove a part of his brain to reduce his powers
Gambit is such a fan favorite and my favorite character of all time I hope Marvel don't mess him up again.
My favorite X-Men character and one of the most well written and diverse marvel heroes
Gambit!!! He has been my favorite since I watched the cartoon in the 90s. He has been the 2nd most popular X-Men ever (only behind Wolverine) and it is a travesty that they never put him in the movies properly. And being a sideline character in the Wolverine movie does not count. I waited patiently during each X-Men movie to see Gambit portrayed properly. 20 years later and we are still waiting to see Gambit get his own movie on the big screen.
And yes, we are waiting to see Gambit and Rogue together (please not the Anna Paquin version)!
Same love him
Lol All Fact they dropped the Ball on Rouge as well
Major facts
not to have a nerd moment but, gambit with all of his power is for sure an omega level mutant. This man at full power can shift himself through time, ride dimensional energy from the m'kran crystal to other realities, and in single combat kill both apocalypse and a fully empowered by the phoenix force jean grey. in most universes with his full power an no training, he accidentally incinerates all life(water, plants, animals, people, everything) on the planet. With his full powers he can fly, survive being stab since he can convert things to kinetic energy (as shown when his alternate self New Sun put the hit contract on him an he was stabbed in the heart with a foot long dagger) gains the ability to charge anything just by looking at it (as shown when he uses it on mystique) as well as the fact that even without his full power its confirmed that his internal kinetic energy creates enough interference to boost his strength, speed, dex, reflexes, thinking speed, the ability to block out the most powerful telepaths on the planet (jean, psylocke, and even xavier) and he can instead of releasing the charge to cause explosions he can also use his power to speed the items he throws up. Come on...the man is damn impressive.
Most underrated Oméga mutant in comics smh
My all-time favorite
I can't think of a single actor in Hollywood who's remotely attractive enough to play Gambit.
Precisely!
Danny Devito comes to mind
Channing tatum
I hope Tatum doesn't ever get cast as gambit
Gambit Is omega level for sure but he had blocks put in place for sheer fear of how powerful he can be
I was just commenting that. When the part of his brain replaced that Mr sinister removed, he can become New Sun. Who can destroy worlds.
Everyone loves 9921!!
He actually seems to have the same powers as doctor manhattan with the brain tissue there
Imagine if he supercharged the earth
@@redface7958 that's kinda the whole new son story
Bro, Gambit + Wolverine are the best XMEN.
It was a huge relief when I heard that Tatum's Gambit project was tossed. What he wanted to do would have trashed the character and film. Also, he said Gambit was into fashion and wore whatever he wanted! 😂 He's been wearing that same gear for like ever.
GAMBIT will always be that one Yet another epic reason to Adore the X-MEN
and i easily understand why he is one of the most beloved icons from Marvel comics
he deserve all the love that he may get and more
also.. one of the X-Man i can relate the most for some odd reason..
thank you for showing the love that our beloved X-People deserve channel
and may Gambit stay as one of the coolest and most awesome character ever created not just within the marvel universe but in All History
he will always deserve to have ROGUE's Heart
Gambit is my favorite marvel character. I been waiting for the MCU to do him justice.
I actually did not know that gambit was blinded at one time. I myself have a vision problem and when I was little, I used to pretend that my cane was a bow staff and I was gambit. So that’s a little bit of cool info.
Taylor made an awesome Gambit. I love Channing, but the part is spoken for. Taylor!! I would absolutely pay to watch him play the role. More than once☺️
Channing is a good dude and great actor, and I was happy he was trying to champion a gambit movie but I could not see him playing gambit at all
I agree
@@reapersritehandWould love to see Jensen Ackles as Gambit.
Gambit is one of my favorite x men ever
He didn’t even bring up the Wolverine and Gambit 4 part comic series. Was totally kickass back in the 90’s.
Wolverine / Gambit: Victims (1995) was pretty kickass; it had a creepy Noir mystery feel to it.
Wow I really need to get back to reading Xmen again. I never heard of Gambit being sold to Hydra
Well, he's beyond omega level with his Brain restored and he's new Sun.
For me, it was always a choice between Wolverine and gambit. Hard choice because I like them both. Whenever we played X-Men on the schoolyard I was one of the two most usually. And was I the only kid that carried around a deck of playing cards after seeing the X-Men TV series? Yeah are used to do that.
U
Gambit was awesome he never got enough love
As a Cajun, yes! I would love to see Gambit on the Big screen
I would love to see Gambit on the big screen, if the script is written, then what’s the problem? I don’t understand why Marvels won’t go ahead and make this happen, I believe that Channing Tatum would make a great Gambit. I’m from New Orleans so I’m emotionally invested in this character, plus I like his backstory Gambit is a beast. #makethishappen
Channing Tatum would be a terrible pick. I think Ralph The baker would be a better Choice. At least he's Cajun.
@@mcfarlane1105 agreed!!!
Tatum is an awful actor. Why would you want that for Gambit???
Yeah but not with Channing 😒 the original actor is perfect
@@bostonpeach690 agreed!
Gambit my fav marvel character of all time
Glad to see Gambit at least has a cameo in DP3!
I'll always prefer Claremont's original Gambit origin of him being a clone body made for Sinister using Cyclops DNA to all the extra nonsense they came up with once Claremont left
I've imagined a twist on that concept, with Havok being the clone Sinister created, in partnership with Davan Shakari, using Cyclops and Adam X DNA, and Gambit being the true Alex Summers. It would explain Havok's mental instabilities, similar to Madelyn Prior, and possibly even their attraction to one another.
I don't get that appeal and why does everything have to be connected to the Summers family???? The Marvel Universe should not be that small, just let Gambit be his own character with no ties to anyone, being a clone / fake would not add anything to his character. These OMG moments that has taken over fiction in all media has become too much these days...
@@404ServerErrorAgree. Summers are blah to me.
Gambit is by far the most fascinating of all mutant, and he has strong sense of humility, along with courage that surpasses any hero in any universe DC, or Marvel. His wit is uncanny, guess that's why it's a no brainer, that he's a X-Men.
By far my favorite xmen he definitely needs his own movie or at live action show
He was my favorite character in X Men. Very skilled in close combat and has cool ability and appearance.
gambit needs a lot more attention in current media
Same wit Sabertooth and Lady Death strike
Gambit was my fav male X-Man, as a kid watching the old cartoons. It's sad that Gambit has as much potential, but it's hardly ever realized. Given his extended life span & all the people he's encountered over the years, Gambit should have as many storylines as Logan. Well, hopefully the MCU does him justice & Gambit's popularity soars where it should be.
Gambit and beast are by far my favorite xmen. Gambit is just so suave and debonair. I loved the moment in the 90s cartoon where you see him in a shop flirting with the cashier while buying an like 50 packs of playing cards when a sentinel attacks and he's like oh shit I gotta go
Also when he's breaking into a museum in I think it was the new class he does a happy face on the window to break it then Lays down a charged card that the guard who's playing solitare needs and after it goes off picks dude up with his staff and puts him in a closer.
I knew a lot about gambit but I didn't know he had enhanced strength but it makes sense due to the nature of his mutation I just thought he was a very skilled fighter
Still my favorite character
Gambit is a thief and a playboy, but he has a conscience and a heart
Gambit would be an awesome stand alone movie because of all the villains and heroes he encountered.
Thank you for these videos. Salute. And I subscribed
I wish there was a way to get all of these comic books, where I could read them either in braille or audio form. You miss a lot of really good material when you cannot read the comic books. Yes, there are novels but, that doesn’t even cover half the material you miss when you cannot read the comic books.
Gambit is a omega level mutant
Gambit was my favorite xmen in the animated series. I remember getting up early on the weekends in the 90s and watching transformers and then xmen. I liked how gambit could grab anything and turn it into a bomb
Compared to many cities who have comic characters, per capita, New Orleans has a larger number of cool characters. It's unique history must be the reason because within the region there are a handful of international cities, but none have as many characters/cool characters as N.O.; some of them have no characters at all.
Imagine a Gambit statue in the French Quarter. It would be a pilgrimage site for X-Men fans.
Such a missed opportunity not giving Channing Tatum the green light to play Gambit....it would be magical if we got him in Deadpool 3
Gambit: Loses moral high ground
Sabertooth: Hold my beer
Loved Taylors Gambit in the Wolverine movie, wish they would let him keep playing Gambit in future movies. I don't care much to see Channing Tatem as Gambit but maybe he all the sudden becomes likeable in that role.
He is coolest because he never wanted to misuse his powers that's why the redemption arc of joining the xmen he was raised with thieves that itself was a hard growing up and overall I prefer the cartoon ones rather than the cinematic ones, they were nearly perfect representation of the character😉
I’m glad Disney didn’t put out a weak PG-13 mediocre Gambit movie I’d rather see marvel handle this character just like they did Deadpool because he’s one of my all time favorite X-MEN
Imagine if he dies and gets revived by the five and has his original powers- I don’t want him to die tho. I don’t trust Krakoa
I don't trust Marvel
@@404ServerError I don't trust most people in marvel to write him. Jim lee and Chris Claremont are the only ones that I fully trust on writing him. Even fanfic writers do better than what they are doing now...
Gambit is my favorite marvel character.
I have always loved him and thought he was one of the most powerful mutants, outside Phoenix.
Technically Gambit is considered both Alpha and Omega, really. He's Omega because of his potential, but Alpha because of his limits.
I couldn't stop thinking about the Pete Holmes skit during this video
Gambit was always my favorite on XMeN he needs a Movie
🔥🔥🔥great read💪🏾👌🏾
Yes love Gambit
Actually Gambit is Omega level but as a teen had Sinister reduce it by removing part of his brain stem to a more controllable level. However there is an issue where Gambit time travels to the 19th Century (I think) and a young Sinister restores the part he took. Also it always bothers me that they never depict that Gambit can touch Rogue in the cartoons. He does so in the comics on many occasions sending kinetic energy across the surface of his skin like static to disrupt her power.
He was a mega star in the classic animation and comic s. The films have really let him and his fans down. Perhaps too much Wolverine and not enough of the other iconic mutant characters
One of my favorites that don't get mentioned enough! What about Morph as well where's his play at
The Savage Land would be cool to see on the big screen. Shit, More Gambit would be nice also.
The power of any character changes according to the writer and the character's popularity.
Sucks that he was barely given any exposure in the movies 😤
Lol that thumbnail maid Tatum look like Kevin sorbo.
As far as mainstream xmen, gambit, colossus n cyclops or at the top
Gambit is the best!❤
I'm sorry, if some tells me to go seek a guy named and I quote "Mr. Sinister" then I'm not friggin goin, lmao.
Gambit is the man that every man aspires to be, and that every man would never leave alone with his girl.😅
Always been my favorite Xmen....plus he's from my city (nola)
One of my favorite love team gambit and rougue
Yes, Gambit needs more screen time!
I still have the first appearance of gambit in the Xmen comic
I think it would be good to see a Gambit movie.
Gambit was always my favorite
Gambit is Omega level.......not alpha
Yeah lol...only thing He got wrong
@nigga turd Normally, but Omega has been vague, and never fully fleshed out. 11 of Apocalypse's Twelve were Alpha Level Mutants who were also Omega Level Mutants.
@@allnamesaretakenfulalways thought Omega level mutants had no “upper limits” to their powers.
We know this from the introduction of new sun, an alternate version of himself who power doesn’t have any limits and grows more powerful, as seen when accidentally destroyed the earth after he used his powers recklessly.
@@allnamesaretakenful actually when you really look at apocalypses feats he’s actually omega level, especially since he’s easily beaten other omega level mutants such as exodus like multiple times when exodus was going all out and even Jean Grey three times(with out the phoenix force)when she was going all out, the only thing that really holds him back is that he has to change bodies because of the technorganic virus, comics explained actually did an in-depth analysis and video on this.
The adjuntant thing is like a advisor type thing, not a name, Laban appered in the end of rhe golden age, hes the one talking in the party explaining the politics of rhe kingdom ,and just to explain you got it right the spirit takes the subconcius and use it against you.
Not just a standalone but incorporate him to all the X-Men that’s coming into marvel
Only if Tyler Kitsch can stay with him to pick up on an authentic Raging Cajin accent and hopefully be Chatham Tatum's under-Study.
Gambit was my favorite in the 90s animated series.
He shoulda been had a movie fr
It's such a shame the movies didn't do anything with Gambit, he was my favourite X-man.
That “Brief Cameo” is 13 panels and the annual came out first.
Been a fan of the raging cajun from the start. Taylor did a great job. I'd love to see the gambit movie, but I've always thought taitum was to bulky
I thought gambit was changed to being an omega mutant
He was and is omega level
He's always been omege ...sinister just made it to where he can control it
He Really Really Really do need a movie 🎥 like Deadpool I been a big Big fan of him 4 a long long long time I Really Really Really hope they do that
Hydra comes up... maybe use that MCU
, i remember gambit being omega for sure,
Funny thing, throwing a card is not nearly as easy as it looks. And don’t try to do it outside especially when the wind is blowing. Lol. Good thing they weren’t really explosive. I would’ve been in serious trouble.
Rogue is a true ride or die❤
I think it's time they give him his movies he is tuff
Rumor has it, Gambit will appear in Deadpool 3
Gambit is by far my favorite and I was definitely butt hurt that they haven’t made a movie with him besides that 5 mins of Wolverine Origin flop. Granted that Taylor Kitsch would have sufficed as Gambit, his very quick roll in a flop movie was shit.
Gambit one of the strongest even at a weaker lvl. One who’s been on both good and bad. Maybe unstoppable if left his powers growing
I truly wish they would make the Gambit movie with Channing Tatum. I believe it would be awesome if of course they made I rated R.
I never liked his outfit. He comes from the American South...the hot, sticky, humid South...and he wears a full body suit AND a trench coat? And what's with that head band thing?
He's a mutant man, pretty sure in that world, humidity is the least of his concerns.
the greatest Xmen for me
My favorite mutant probably lol
yes
