Just used this for the first time. Your video really helped especially since the instructions included are very minimal. Quite impressed with this machine. Feels very durable and very user friendly!
Glad it helped!
I saw the Siser Heat Press 9x12 at Michael's 2 weeks ago and it was on sale for $300. While I have been researching to buy a heatpress I had thought about this one but a pleasant surprise came to me while I was on EBAY and I got a used 9x12 FancierStudio one for $35 which I thought would be better to at least test if I wanted a clamshell or Swing away. So far I love it as a small press But I think for a larger unit I will get a clamshell so the research will continue. :-) Loved your video as always. :-)
Thank you purchased mines: Very helpful Video!
ty ty i got mine months ago but have not used it yet.... will be using very soon and needed this to do that... i love the way you explain things... i set up my printer following your directions too.. ty so much!!
Glad I could help!
Thank you!! I had gotten an easy press for Christmas just 5 months ago and it died a few weeks ago.. I’m looking to invest in this heat press as my craft room is small. I make a lot of tshirts and starting to make sweaters next !!
First, I would call Cricut as your machine should be under warranty. Second, this press is really great but the small size can be frustrating.
Just got mine today. So excited to use it.
Thank you Angie!
You bet!
Just got mine today, can't wait to use it. Thanks for the video!!
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you for this video. I was struggling trying to get it to work.
Glad I could help!
Love your tape holder.
Thanks! I should totally try to find that online and link to it! I think I picked it up at TJ Maxx.
Fab thanks so useful. How do I know what temp I need to set it at and duration? Love tape holder I also have one similar

So when you say light pressure what does that mean? How do you gauge light pressure on this machine? Can you help? Thank you. 🤔
I don't have a video explaining that. There are others on RUclips though! I need to do one!
I am wondering if this press can handle 'stong preassure' for puff vinyl. Just browsing through your videos :D
Yes it can! I have used it before!
Great video I just picked one of these up just now.
Hope you enjoy it!
@@AngieHolden thank you!
love this simple instruction video. but one question, can you use vinyl sheet paper to customize words or pictures into it? or should that be purchased separately?
I just bought my press and two weeks ago and still am having troubles, for some reason it does not heat sometimes?
I haven't had any issues with this press. You may contact them or exchange it for a new one.
i love your video!
but question for you, how do you know how much pressure you are giving? I'm really not sure how to tell how much pressure I'm doing
It is just feel. I usually adjust the knob then pull down the handle and see it I feel that is "light" or heavier.
I just got the Siser press and am also impressed. I was wondering can you put a hvt design on both sides of a shirt, let's say. Obviously you have to do a side at a time, but when completing the other side, do you need to put the parchment paper or teflon down on padded side?
Yes you can do one side then the other. You can add the parchment just to be safe but it should be okay.
I added a small towel inside a tshirt when I pressed something on the front then on the back .. I did it once without anything inside the tshirt and I ruined the front lol 😂 so.. I started putting a small towel for adding to the back also
Thanks for this demo! Do you think this press might work on adding foil to the front of a 10x10 book (approx 1/2" thick)?
It is only 9 x 12 so not in one press.
@@AngieHolden thank you!
Hi how do you know how to get the correct pressure? Does it have something on the diel?
No. You just have to do it by feel.
Hi Angie, I just got this heat press & I can't figure out how to make it go higher than 200.
Are you in Celsius or Fahrenheit?
@@AngieHolden, Fahrenheit.
Then you would click the middle button then increase the temperature. You have to click through after you change it to accept the changes then it will heat up.
@@AngieHolden, thank you. I figured it out with your instructions.
Hi Angie, can this heat press sublimate acrylic
?
Yep!
Can I use this Heat Press for Sublimation ? Is the size acceptable for doing t-shirts. Awesome tutorial! Thank you!!!!
It is the one I use!
@@AngieHolden what about temperature and time for doing a sublimation project? Do you have a tutorial that shows how to use this heat press for sublingual projects?
The time and temperature depends on the blank you are using. I always try to follow the instructions from the manufacturer. And I used this press here: ruclips.net/video/-f4oH2x-Nu0/видео.html&lc=Ugy4TGfl95autc3c27F4AaABAg
Will that press do slate
Yes I have done slate in it.
im in australia does it only do it in Fahr Hight
I accidentally stained the red pad when pressing the back of a shirt (forgot blowout paper on the other side and the first image transferred on the red pad) any suggestion on how to remove that ink?
What I have done in the past is to use a large scrap of polyester and pressed it in the press. Basically activating the ink and transferring to something else.
I used parchment paper and used it 3 or 4 times and it was gone!
Hi Angie! I have a question can the sisser be converted into a 220v?
if you are doing a potholder with iron on vinyle/ what temp should u have it set too?
Check the material your pot holder is made of then check with the manufacturer of the HTV you are using. Each HTV has different instructions.
What are the full dimensions on the length and width?
I am not sure! Sorry!
@@AngieHolden is ok I went on the site. It's around 17'x12'. I just wanted to be sure it would fit in my space with room around it.
Tfs.
In His Grace
Have you tried Sublimation with it yet? if you have how did you find it?
I use it for sublimation all that time! Works great! You may just want to consider how small it is in comparison with what you want to make.
Do you recommend this for sublimating?
Yep! I use it all the time!
Have you tried an adult t-shirt with an image that's larger than 9x12? Just wondering how difficult it is to lineup/press. Thanks!
Yes! I have a video coming up next week with this heat press and larger designs. I didn't find it difficult at all.
@@AngieHolden Thank you!
Have you done this video yet? If so, can you tell me how to find it? Thanks.
Can you link the video we’re you did a shirt

@@AngieHolden This one with did show the Siser 9 X 12
Does anyone know how long it takes for it to heat up?
It isn't very long. Maybe 8 minutes?
I was just looking for a press in that price range! What HTV do you recommend with it?
The Siser is really great or I have a video on BFlex here that works great: ruclips.net/video/mpaPaLXdBhQ/видео.html
Hii how long does it take to heat up??
I would say 3 to 5 minutes.
No, it takes 15 - 20 mine
I was just looking at that in Michael's. How do you know what pressure to use?
You will follow the directions that are on your HTV or whatever you are pressing.
What kind of tape do you use to hold the sticker on?
You can use heat resistant tape. Siser has some or there are other brands. However, the HTV paper is sticky once you weed it so it often holds itself in place.
Hi how much does this weigh?
Just got mine and doesn’t heat up more than 200 :(
Yes it does! Set your temperature. Be sure you are not on the mode any longer then wait for it to heat up.
@@AngieHolden I know it goes higher I meant mine broke literally after 1 use. :( I had to return it.
Oh no! That sucks!
Does it come with a warranty?
I do know Michaels gives you 6 months. Not sure if Siser gives you longer.
How hard is it to put a shirt on while press is hot?
It is not too hard. I often wear heat resistant gloves as I am a klutz.
Why does it take so long to heat up?
All heat presses that I have used take a long time to heat.
Funny I just watched the siser video, and they said to be sure to always use some sort of parchment paper or something in-between your project as to not have anything stick to the top platten. You didn't put anything in there.
I have the carrier sheet on the HTV itself. But I definitely don't usually use a sheet in between. Some HTV does not have a carrier sheet though so maybe they are cautioning for that? Or if you press after removing it. I add my carrier sheet back to the top if I do a second press.
@@AngieHolden no, most HTV has the carrier sheet, if it does melt or something happens, the parchment paper is extra insurance of protection. I always do it myself, I'm not taking any chances.
Oh okay. Gotcha! That works too!
