Actually none of those can do selective silence as those are all running off relay modules using the booster panels aux power, this was supposed to be like a high rise setup but it was a failed attempt lol
@@FireTech7 that’s kind of what I was talking about. It is still somewhat selective notification even if it is through modules. Selective notification is commonly used in high rise settings which I also assumed was attempted to be demonstrated in this situation.
I have one more question… if I bought a system sensor speaker strobe and hook it up to just a battery or a wall plug, would it play any sound? Or would the strobe just flash
Yeah, with this panel, I'd have to record every message, either the mic and save it over another message, and since there's like what, 20+ notifier messages out there, it would just take wayyy too much time to do

IFP-2000 seems to take a lil bit to activate there.

Only the strobe would flash but make sure to use 24vdc. To use the speaker you'd need an amplifier
