Well done mate, cracking shot with the drone. As you’ve proved it doesn’t matter what gear you use you can always take decent photos. Thanks for the shout out too. It’s always a pleasure to chat with you, always happy to help with the drone side of things 😉
I recently bought an EM5II as a travel camera and it immediately replaced my canon DSLRs in about 90% of my photography. I absolutely adore that tiny but very capable camera.
Nice work. I have an Olympus Omd-em-10, mark ii that I bought new several years ago. It has been a great little camera, especially for portraits. It also does a great job with architectural photos. Anyway, nice photos.
Watching this video beeing on a holiday trip to Mallorca with the family using more or less the same equipment (EM5III + Mini 2). Having a struggle with clear blue sky and mostly harsh sunlight my drone footage often saves the day for me as it creates completely different views and / or emphasizes a location the way a normal camera just can't. So glad to have it with me. Btw there are relatively inexpensive CPL ND filter sets which are really useful for photos and video.
At the end of the day the best camera is the one you have with you ! I changed to Olympus from Nikon a few years ago, an Em1 Mk iii and now an OM-1. Reason were lighter weight, smaller but not too small and the quality and consistency of my images. Birds and Macro are my main areas and these cameras are the best that i have found for my style. My concern is the way so called pros degrade smaller sensor's ! I purchased a second hand Sony A7R iii a little while back and when taking a high res image and comparing it to the Sony 42 mpx you cant tell the difference. We are off to Aus on Saturday for three weeks and will be taking the Oly gear, it performs very well with quality lenses and fantastic focusing for my macro and birding. Fantastic images mate and yes I do like the drone shots, might have to purchase another, sold mine to help with purchasing the Sony ! Keep it up as it lets us see what the rest of the world has to offer, just like Guido Van DeWater. Cheers from Kiwi land ! NZ
Hi Chris - I have followed you for some time and am a subscriber. I do follow many photographers and have yet to comment on any of their channels so you are the first. Absolutely love your down to earth and knowledgeable style so please keep it up as I am sure your subscriber numbers will continue to rise. I think I am like you re drone photography as I also have the mini 2 and rarely use it. It may be the pain in getting it set up or the potential hassle of people not happy with drones but do enjoy some of the unique perspectives they provide. I am a Canon FF shooter as lots of landscape photographers telling us its the only way to go, however on the cusp of trying micro 43 especially as many of the FF gurus seem to accept the smaller sensor in their drones mmm. I love the thought of smaller kit, weather sealing and IBIS. Thanks and look forward to the next one.
Great video. I actualy made a simular video recently. About the m43 downsides that aren't real downsides but haven't finished it conpletely. Great moody images with the long exposure good timing with the waves. I actualy own the same drone also but somehow I rarely use it. I just don't fancy the proces of looking for images trough the screen of my phone. But you nailed that drone shot realy liked the idea. Grt guido
Great video. Enjoyed the images. I mostly agree with you. I've been very happy with photos from all kinds of cameras from phones to point n shoot to lower priced dslr & mirrorless. A bit off topic...reliable autofocus on birds in flight is where your camera can make a noticeable difference.
Great video Chris... Definitely agree that its not the Camera that takes the Image... We could all have the best gear, best equipment, but if we can't find any decent shots... You might as well have a phone with you
Client perception is the strangest thing, I use a Fujifilm X-T5 and Nikon D850 and D750 when I was on a recent shoot and started using the X-T5 then switched to the D850 I could hear , oh good he's brought the proper camera 🤔
Lovely photos, don’t forget to wash off your tripod where is been in the sea if you have metal legs, salt water is fine on carbon legs but metals will corrode badly and you won’t see it until you next come to use it again, also nasty on zips, enjoyed watching and just shows it’s down to your imagination how good the shots will come out 🤩🤩🤩
Chris your truths are like a harsh mistress....LOL Excellent program and in the end, editing becomes monumental for a photographers success (Locations are not bad either ;)
While I think the B/W photo (at 4:38) is beautiful, it hardly resembles the actual landscape at all. I often think, when I see this sort of result, is what does it possibly matter what camera you’re using when it’s going to be manipulated with software as heavily as this? Not so much a criticism, but rather a rhetorical question.
While I still pixel peep from time to time, I've long since learned to look at the picture and not the pixels if you want to know how good an image is! Anyone can make great pixels, great images are at another level!

You know it's your brain and eyes that make the art of photography..Not the equipment.. keep up with the fantastic videos
I have a em5 mkii and em1 mkii. I love them both. Affordable on the used market. Great build quality. Great travel camera.
Totally agree!

Feels great to be watching you again Chris.
Love your down to earth style and bugger what the others think approach👍

Chris.Thats why I'm staying with the Canon 1Dx ..You Rock!
Top drawer ...
Gotta be theee most honest PoV ever said by any YTuber
would you mind saying where this was shot. thanks
Kilnsea, Chris.
Thanks Chris,
Great video again
Thank you, Grandad 🤘🏻
Can we have more drone footage

It's never been the camera that mattered, always the photographer. For the drone shot, I actually preferred the original diagonal angle!
I am still using my first camera, a Nikon D3400 after 4 years and people are always shocked when they see a photo and ask what camera I use haha.
I have a Canon M6 mark II. I keep hearing about all the "R" series that other people are buying. I don't need the newest and the overpriced.
The best camera is the one you own!

Yes Chris the drone photo was good .but stick with teaching us how to use our cameras. I have 2 drones but I got bored with them
Another really good video! Results trump talk & you prove it every time.
Pixel peepers don't agree
Pixel peepers have deep rooted issues that no camera will resolve.
While I still pixel peep from time to time, I've long since learned to look at the picture and not the pixels if you want to know how good an image is! Anyone can make great pixels, great images are at another level!
Your title should say digital or 100 year old film camera.
