Al is there sitting on the bench early in the mornings before the sun rises. When I have walked, I have slowed down to say "hi", but have never stopped to sit on the bench as many do. Al's friendly and cheerful disposition makes him quite special. It's as though one is drawn to his gentle soul, and a brief interaction with him always feels uplifting. 💚
Donna, can you say which beach? I live in the area and would love to see him and say hi. I am a therapist and love this. He is right on the mark about listening.

People like our former President and the craziness and negativity that he tends to generate would fade quietly away if the press didn't fixate on him so much. Most of us are still decent people who would much rather read/watch a Steve Hartman story than read about how the 45th U.S. President thinks he could beat a Lincoln/Washington Presidential ticket.

Ah the park bench: the modern day oracle. I made two job decisions on the bench at my local park. Now I make 3 times what I did before.........which is still less than 30 an hour but.....livable
