The bias against Ambrose from the commentators is pathetic , very un professional , maybe the worst I’ve come across! Hardly a mention about how great the start was by both SBR cars and the fantastic speed shown in the first few laps in the first 4 min! Instead focusing on 2 commodores where the drivers rubbed panels, if that had of been HRT starting like that, jerk and fanboy”Neil Crompton” would of been singing their praise for lap after lap! Any wonder we lost possibly the best driver possibly ever to the USA and even on his return 10 years later the envy and jealousy was still red hot! Kiwi and very bad sport “ Greg Murphy “ should of been banned for a year for the deliberate and dangerous crash into Ambrose at Bathurst ! If we can all talk about ingal’s attack on skaife then a deliberate crash into another out of jealousy should of been a far worse punishment when you consider a life could of been lost and the cost to teams money wise was huge. Starting to think maybe Murphy cheated for his 2:06 at Bathurst when comparing his next 3 years after that, strange that he could not get near it even with car gains! If it looks like a rat and smells like one then it’s probably a rat.
When you watch racing from around this era, one name comes thru in the commentary FAR too often, Rick Kelly, personally i think he nothing more than an ANNOYING little Shit. Also Triple Eight get far Far FAR TOO MUCH mention, others too, but it is the same week in week out!! Who give a fuck about Kelly, or Triple Eight, i CERTAINLY DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stopped watching about 2012 because it was exactly the same, BORING, i do NOT want to Wincup winning every BLOODY weekend, FUCK THAT SHIT!!!!

burnsiet I did not say that he was I said possibly ! He was dominating from the get go and 2 straight championships in just 3 years? Think of what could of been! And all the drivers you mentioned tried their luck abroad with no success ! Ambrose for me was a cut above and hungry! Well spoken and had a good knowledge of what he wanted set up wise which always ended up being fast!we missed out on over 10 years of clearlythe best driver at that time and. Many were in comparable cars and did not hold a candle to Ambrose ! Didn’t say they weren’t good drivers but when up against Ambrose became up trumps! They even changed the rules for scoring to tryandhinder his domination
