Do you know how hard it is to find E-sir's live performance. Greatful for the raw footage of E-sir
E Sir would have been a Hit on the African Stage
I was e sirs number one fan,i had the album...when the story of his death came up...i felt down ,I felt as if I lost someone close to me....long live the legend E sir...R.I.P
E-sir's death struck a nerve. RIP .
i missed E SIR alot
Iv'e always noticed , every artist who writes what we call a 'death song' like a grand farewell or something of the sort. It's like the universe way of telling them and us as fans that they are about to "leave' us. MJ - This is it, Prince,Tupac, BIG they all wrote death songs just like E-sir's hamnitishi. RIP Esir.
I know you know the drill jay... it is wat it is..they know the deal. Esir was part of it. Cemented the soul selling of black artists in kenya.
My brother, this thought came into my mind and got me searching about E-sirs death. Then here I get the same sentiments in my mind
Esir died like Brian chira did. Sama age and all that
E-Sirs spirit will forever live in His music...Nmaeless , E-sir duo did magics in the booth
I was in high school(Koelel High) and the crash happened when we were in our evening prep. We came to sleep and saw the ambulance and traffic from our dormitory. Later learnt that it was ESir
I am a koelel alumni.Vita brevis Ars longa
That was so sad
Gone but never forgotten 🙏🏿💯
when kenyan music was music
A bit of E-sir's CTA 🙏
This is such a sad harrowing story of Nameless' last moments with E-Sir!It cannot be stressed enough, buckle up your seat-belt on every ride. Seat-belts everyone!Seat-belts save lives!
31:00 I am wondering if that guy Santoz that Nameless mentions was of the musical duo 'XYZ'?
I have a theory on that Boomba song; I was in Ditchez (AKA Dagoretti High School) circa 2002. The resident "rap group" was a group called Boomba clan (Best of our Music Bestowed on All) with the like of Philo (Phillip Makanda) and Peter Msengeti (of the chonga viazi fame.) Around this time they had released their first single and were distributing it to radio stations. The single bears startling similarity to E-Sir's song that was released subsequently. As far as we are concerned, he stole it or at the very least, borrowed from it without recognising the creators.
Do you have evidence on your theory? Acha kuharibia esir. Nameless says esir would write a verse and take it to Lucas. If it's not true challenge Nameless
We lost a legend
