I feel like people that betray or backstab in a co-op have never in their life had to experience the pure euphoria or Halo lan parties, or even a simple Halo co-op campaign/multiplayer match.
Anyways, this was another great one. Project Zomboid + friends is always a great combo, especially with stallt n the mischief bois.
I was never a big halo guy but I had more than my fair share of amazing Halo 2 LANs in barns and basements.
@@StallttHell yea, I never got to experience the hay day of lan parties, but I got a taste of it in my childhood and it was absolute euphoria.
I never got that way because my older brother always played coop with me in games, always working together. Dawn of War, Gears of War, Deep Rock Galactic, etc. Always working together.
Obviously if you set up a narrative or factions or something in a game like Minecraft for example rivalry can be somewhat fun, but working together is so much better.
Yeah I have nothing against PvP and factions and all of that, it just wasn't what we'd been doing. It's funny though that he just ended up getting himself killed in the end

if you are ever playing with just a few people and want the game to be harder i recommend the night sprinters mod
Night sprinters was in the original mod pack and was what drove Sam to ask me to fix the server for him

Stallt you should setup the common sense mod, as the name implies it adds many things to the game that should be “common sense” checkout the workshop page for it because it’s such a QOL improvement

Poob mentioned in the patreon episode that his first thought when he got to our base was how he wanted to break every window and lead zombies into it, like a kid kicking over another kid's sand castle (their words.) It's a pretty toxic mindset to be in
I thought about it more and I would've worded it differently if I hadn't already uploaded. Basically I put a stupid amount of hours into leveling everything to craft all the stuff these guys were using, then having someone show up for the first time basically on the last day then use that stuff to try and ruin your trip just didn't feel great. I admit that I got saltier than I should've.
As far as the modlist we got it from another youtuber and it really was a shitty list, it was almost 300 and I whittled it down to around 250. It was just too many we didn't need
When you're playing a coop game with friends, and especially a game that takes a lot of time and effort to progress like PZ, it's a huge headache to have someone in the group who's only goal is to ruin the experience for everyone else.
It's a similar thing with ARK, if I joined my brother's game, joined his tribe, and just got all of his tames killed and his base torn down him and his buddies will have lost 100s of hours of work, and he'd be fucking pissed, rightfully so.

@Stalltt I think all the pvp'ing in other games has warped what they perceive to be fun when gaming. Don't get me wrong I love a good tarkov raid when I can take a dude that's super juiced down but to want to screw over your friends for a few twitch laughs? Nah that's messed up
