  • By becoming mindful of our emotions we can respond appropriately instead of reacting to a challenging situation. This is the art of mindfulness that we can cultivate in our daily life, to be the change we want to see in the world.
    Recorded on 30.03.23 @ Plum Village, Upper Hamlet.

    Phap huu, I have no words to thank you for your teachings. You transmit peace and conviction from the depths of your heart. Your words are clear, precise, soft, full of understanding and wisdom. My life would have been totally different if I had known Thay's teachings before, and now yours. Again, thank you!

    "I had to accept: i still have deep loneliness in me. And i embrace you, my dear loneliness." A chill of awe stirred me, when Bro P said this, & i felt his teacher beaming at him with joy & delight. "Well done," he seemed to say. He's with you, it seems, in that connective starry voluminous universe of loneliness & oneness.

    Dearest brother, you are such a beautiful continuation of our dear Thay. Your words heal my soul. There was so much clarity when you explained how the energy of mindfulness bathes the emotion of anger, and then it is not just anger but mindfulness of anger

    ya'll got to do something about the loud coughing. If people have a cough they could sit at the back. or if they have a cough issue them a towel and cough into the towel.

    • @buddhism-lr1yt
      @buddhism-lr1yt Год назад

      The coughs don't even sound involuntary. They sound forced. Like they have an itch to scratch. It's not out of necesity, rather, some perverted form of hedonism of endless through scratching.
      You can tell by the sound they are coughing on purpose, there is no mindfulness of their surroundings, very selfish.
