Please understand - according to us - the best person to talk about Thiruda Thiruda - has to be either Mr. Ratnam or Mr. Rahman. Both of them have been so tied up with PS1 & PS2. Once they get a breather from PS 2 relaese... we plan to approach them... for many tracks that were not covered during our earlier sessions (Including Thiruda Thiruda) But we have to respect their professional commitments... and busy schedules. Ofcrs, being a Telugu person, I more than happily accept and welcome 🙏 Prabhu Deva’s opinion about Telugu songs and how much importance songs here are given even today! Though again the Moment of the Day is not related to ARR but then this time I have nothing better Moment to think of as the discussion was largely about choreography. But truly what he said towards the end as to how even in so called dance songs, dance is getting diluted and other elements take over is a huge concern in most of today’s films, esp. in today’s times when there are more dance based reality shows than dance based songs. And that’s why we see most of the contestants pick up usually old songs and it clearly resonates with what he said!
I think after Naatu Naatu bagging an Oscar, we can hope that the trend might make a comeback in full swing where we enjoy all kinds of filmy songs like we did in the good old 90s films and music. Hope those days are not far away and resurrected in all their glory!!

Yes, nice suggestion and that would be more interesting as Sujatha had a way longer association with Rahman than her daughter. I’m not very sure though but she’s next after Chitra to have the most songs with ARR as s female playback singer!
Some of A.R.R songs not so popular in Tamil but in hindi super hit Kay Sera Sera is one of them.
I don't agree...in Tamil also it was so popular that time....music, dance, those four girls, arvind swamy and Isha....wow combination.....teenage nostalgia....
Kay sera sera was an improved version of Kadhal Niagra. Also, Dance in the Hindi version is fabulous.
