    Aweeeeesome review Mike! Really great to see how it responded in your hair. It’s truly designed to be used on fully dry hair but as you saw it can be a good pre styler. Thanks again sooo much man!!!

      Thanks for watching sir! And I really applaud you for making something so unique. I too think dry hair is the way to go on this one and I demonstrated damp hair here, to both satisfy those guys who don’t watch unless I do, and to show them dry hair is the way to go 😂😂

    Have to say that after I saw this review, I thought this product would be great in my hair. It got me to watch more reviews on Stephen’s products. All I can say is I think his line of products is the best. His shampoo and conditioner, 25 spray, and pregame are the best products I have ever used. Ordered clutch as well. Shout out to TDM as well for endorsing all of Stephen’s products.

    Recommend this as a pre and post styler ? Super thick / straight hair. Exercising, and sweating just a little bit makes the front of my hairstyle fall down and it’s not the same. I can push it back up but I find myself doing that all the time and get annoying. Looking for a solution?

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV 5 лет назад +2

      Dzuy DAO I think both would work. It also depends on what look you want. I think XL probably has a bit more texture since it actually has clay in it, but as you saw in this video this one isn’t light in the texture department either. It’s hard for me to just guarantee something will work for someone else but Iike both those products 👍

    • @TheSalonGuy

      Nate Holland pre game isn’t designed for that boss, kinda as Mike demonstrated lol

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV 5 лет назад +1

      I wouldn’t see the need tbh, if you wanted to pre style with this you could and you could then go in with a clay but with this one you are able to get volume, texture etc. so you could get away with using it alone but I’m always down for combinations which make the possibilities for Pre Game endless based on the users imagination.

    • @MMTV

      Hugo Navia this is not even in the same category... this is a wax and Cavalier is a heavy clay. It would be like comparing bananas to plastic.

      @@MMTV I know, I'm talking about hold, how long does it last. In my country is neither of them available, but these seems to be easier to adquiere rather than Cavalier.
      So, although I know it's not even close in the type, I think it is possible to compare the "result".
      From your video looks to give you a really nice finish, but I don't know how the hold would be.
      So far, Cavalier has a really good hold for me, but I'm willing to try this if the hold effect is the same or better.

    Hey Mike, thanks for the great video. I always appreciate your detailed review. One thing that you should maybe leave out of your videos is the damp hair vs blow-dried hair debate. If damp hair won’t work for most of your products you are testing, don’t make it a big deal. For other people, the products you test can work on damp hair. My hair for example is wavy and not that thick - blow-drying doesn’t work well for me to archive my style but with the right towel dry technique and the right styling method, I get great volume and height; without blow-drying. Michael from Spruce & Sharp for example just styles how it works best for his hair type. I love watching your and his channel but this damp hair vs blow-dried hair debate is a bit annoying. You have to realize that many people who watching your videos have different kind of hair and preferences. So for you to say, that a product won’t work well on damp hair because it doesn’t work just for you, doesn't mean it can't work well for others. It sounds sometimes that you are mocking people who would even try to use a certain product on damp hair. So maybe just style how it works for you - you can’t please everyone. Love you videos otherwise.

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV 5 лет назад

      Daniel Hartwig hey man! Your right it is a bit annoying when people come at me on the damp vs dry hair crap. I tried for a long time to leave it out but what would happen is I’d get comments like “this videos useless cuz you didn’t show towel dried hair” and other variations of that. if we’re being honest there are products that just don’t work well on towel dried hair and even Stephen, who made this product has said here that it’s not for towel dried hair. I’m not talking down to people who style on damp hair I’m just being honest, maybe someone like yourself who says they can’t blow dry would end up wasting their money on a product that ends up doing nothing for towel dried users. Believe me I’d love nothing more than to never discuss towel dried styling because for me there’s only really 2 products that work well for towel dried styling ( gel types and ob pomades) and I’m vocal about it. I’m glad you have someone like Bateman to watch that’s awesome you have found a channel that aligns with your views. I’m not mocking anyone when I say a product like this is pointless on damp hair, it is. The position I’m in constantly here is people want damp hair style, you don’t want me to discuss it. Folks want short videos, others want all the details and are ok if it goes over 8 mins. I can only do the best I can 🤷‍♂️

    • @danielhartwig3150
      @danielhartwig3150 5 лет назад

      trust me Mike - your videos are the best. I still would cut out that debate if I were you. I know it must be annoying for you as well.@@MMTV
