Olajuwon is when athletic ability meets fundementals mixed with creativity. Beautiful.
Look like a MyCareer stat line
Dom2k Dom the GOAT 🙌🏾
Dom2k the goat
Mannn when is the next Video?
Dom2k this is the closest anyone has ever come to recording a quintuple double!
Armando De Los Santos nah I think Hakeem got cloer in another game though.
This dude was a monster man my goodness look at those numbers
The greatest center ever in my opinion.
Samaja Lewis shaq i think. he was dominant
No doubt
Samaja Lewis absolutely
He was very good, but I think its Kareem.
+Javon Funchess how?
The Dr34m just had so much in his arsenal and his technical attributes are really untouchable. One of a kind. Played the game gracefully. Walks the earth gracefully. Respect and thanks for sharing Dawkins!
One of the greatest playoff performances and performers ever. Hakeem in the playoffs was a top 5 player ever easily.
Most skilled big man
Sheesh, people only focus on his championship years but man this is crazy
hakeem was savage. he was injecting the basket from every angle. no matter if he was doubled or tripled.
Best center of all time
greatest center ever
They're battling like hell on the boards 😂
dang he was having triple team
Maybe the greatest player game in the playoffs ever!! The Dream!!!
So Many Blocks love that D
So much better than Shaq. Can't really believe it. The Dream would dominate today's league 100%.
Oh yes, he would.
TheM4hero
R u retarded? HAKEEM WAS A POST GOD... the spacing today would make it EASIER for Hakeem to score. smh
TheM4hero
You = a complete loser
TheM4hero the spacing would make it even easier for him especially considering he had a jump shot and was agile enough to defend the perimeter.
X02Overdose facts sum shaq couldn’t do
they dont make centers like this anymore
ImageSounds BOOGIE, AD, KAT,JOKIC , PORZINGIS ( kris and AD are power fower)
Best Center ive ever seen
Bougari Sangaré All these players except for Davis shouldnt be compared to a player like Hakeem. Even Davis needs to take the next step first.
Larsoboy123 yeah but centers like Jokic Nurkic and boogie have pretty established post games the only thing is that they are no where near as good on defense
Thomas Elliott nor offense.
This guy is ok.... maybe he could win about 2 rings in the future
Love Your Comment! Plus he might possibly end up top 3 Center of all time.
TOP 3 center of all time
Matteo schaefers top 1
Words never heard at a basketball game, "Coach, I'll shut down Olajuwon!"
This is literally the closest anyone has ever come to recording a quintuple double!!! Olajuwon is hands down the Goat!
dis nigga Hakeem be looking like a 2k myplayer with his stats every game
RainyTV Like something out of a dream? lol
RainyTV this is the closest anyone has ever come to recording a quintuple double!
The Dream #H-TOWN 💪🔥🔥
on 57%
Greatest Center Ever.
Laker Nation is shaq
huey Shaq got swept by this guy and Karl Malone, and Duncan, and Rik Smits and almost got SWEPT by Ben Wallace with a prime Kobe!!
dayviel
Calm down.
😂😂😂😂
As a kid Dream was my favorite player, even though I was 4 feet tall (laughs).
what made him so athletic he was a soccer player where he dodged ppl left and right and he had great stamina.
Hakeem looked like a man among boys.
the best player in his draft. dont @ me jordan stans
Rollex Maximus yea Id say he is. He is a crazy all around player no disrespect to MJ but Dream has a higher FG% more rebs, more blocks, and retired top 10 in steals as a center. Crazy.
Rollex Maximus he is better .Higher fg better defender rebounder blocker and better iq player. Only worst scorer but he was center and too good scorer for a position where you don't have to be a good scorer. GOAT with Chamberlain for me
I agree 100%!
DR34M is the G.O.A.T
Hakeem was more of a fundamentalist player, rather than a flashy one. Never dunked on people just to be an asshole like Shaq did many times.
Look like a Wilt Chamberlain stat line.
If there ever was a big game player.......
Dream was cookn🍝
Best Center ever you will take massive L if you want to argue
kareem
Shaq kareem wilt
Mosa Aghbaria shaq? Foh
Andre Figueiredo no no and no
Mosa Aghbaria o
Back when centers were the best players in the league
The supersonics were coached by Lawrence Fishburne?
Other than Ralph Sampson Hakeem's teammates were trash, with Earl Lloyd and Andrew Wiggin's dad being the only two decent players, but they loved crack cocaine
ralph played like a 6 footer played soft
the Sonics have always had his number.
Seattle was his kryptonite!!
Social Justice Warrior yeah the entire Seattle team was needed to beat Olajuwon and in the process all the Sonics numbers would drop significantly! Remember Olajuwon taking them to 7 games and recording over 30 blocks on them?!? This is actually the closest any player has come to recording a quintuple double!
man people are taking advantage of other people wanting to be good at basketball, ball hog gloves? all these vert and jump training ads, basketball existed for over 50 years before this and the greatest players never used these things.
他の選手より明らかに動きが未来に行ってる
MJ never dominated a game like this... This out beats his 66 point performance
Hakeem posted a 39.0 PER in the 1988 playoffs. There is not a higher PER ever in any playoff look it up I am not kidding. Lebron had a 37.4 PER in 09, and Jordan had I think a 32.1 in 91, Kareem had a 32.4 in 74 or 77 can’t remember.
Basically statistical all around and accounted for pace (what PER does) Hakeem 88 was the GOAT peak in the playoffs.
Weird setting #20 on a Sonic other than Gary Payton (yup, I know that's Maurice Lucas)
The dream was a absolute monster the greatest international basketball player ever outside of Tim Duncan
qceaz11 as great as Duncan is, he's not even close to Hakeem, and Duncan is easily top 10, that's how great Hakeem was.
qceaz11 Duncan is American
when u see me he from the Virgin Islands playa
qceaz11 which is still a territory of the USA
though u ould also say he British but as far as i know he's born on US virgin islands so he's American
This is what Joel will have to live up to
How were the Sonics keeping up?
The Sonics always had more overall talent than Houston. Even during the Rockets' championship years.
poor spacing for both teams. lol
nah lol
Melo Anthony different defensive rules back then
It was the 80s and no one gave a shit about 3s, which was a good thing.
49 points 25 rebounds amd still loses...
that is why he is better than James
Damn goat. Hakeem would kill this soft league right now. I wonder if draymond green can shutdown Hakeem.
trey bucks David Robinson, Dennis rodman, Shaq, etc. got cooked when guarding Hakeem. A dude who's barely 6'7 no matter how good defensively would be BBQ chicken ernuh
Syed Abood W
If David Robinson with Dennis Rodman couldn't, how Draymond can ? The only thing that could shut down Hakeem was his injuries taking toll on him.
Trey Buckets
You wonder?
You wonder if Draymond can shutdown Hakeem?
Wtf?
😂😂😂😂
Overrated Draymond can't even guard old ass Zach Randolph.
😂😂😂😂
@@bmw740v8 You Speak the Truth!
how impossible is sonics beating the rockets
The Sonics seemed to always have significantly more athletic talent than the Rockets. Hakeem just couldn't do it all by himself.
empty stats [/green font
All these players were so slow and didn't play defense
5th
looks rigged
ok Hakeem is great we all get it, but the offense and defense were horrible on both teams. it was awful to watch all men standing near the paint lmao
Jason Saw what's ever better all defense in the paint and he still easily scores
lol defense was not horrible. watch more basketball from the 80s.
Ernesto Hendrix the 80s are known for their high pace and lack of defense. You think the nbas highscoring rn? Look at boxscores from back then especially for the Denver Nuggets. Scores regularly went over 130-140
Syed Abood high pace and lack of defense *in the west. Larry bird described the offensive styles to differ by coasts. western teams were characterized by a "run and gun" offense while the eastern teams were characterized by a "grind it out" offense. The Lakers were obviously the epitome of the run and gun team. You would be mistaken if you don't think that they were able to change their pace and play an elite level of defense though. If you don't believe me, watch game 4 of the 1987 Finals where they had to play against the Celtics' big three (all relentless scorers in the post)
Jason Saw
"Lmao"
how old are you?
Mondern NBA plays soft small ball.
Remember when only the Europeans big would shoot threes and Team USA Bigs would bruise them in the post with ease but the world leader in basketball loss the 2004 Summer Olympic. oddly enough since 1957 the nba mvp has been won by a 6' 3" player or shorter 7 times. 5 of them were after 2004 which was coincidentally Lebrons rookie season. plus lebron has never played a full season (MJ-9x) or play without a big 3 since 2010 and yet he crys about wanting to play less games and wanting more help. Lebron (the best of this era)
Why do they flop when the game is smaller and more efficient than ever and opens the door for countless of records to be broken. i wouldnt mind the change if players didnt play lawyerball flop and care more about their pregame dances and postgame attires. and act like they are the greatest but refuse to admit that they play in a soft era That calls for "crackdown" on yelling and the natural physicality of the game.
welcome to the era of inflated stat
cough6'3"westbrookcough
even harden almost averaged a triple double while carrying his team to a better record than lebron super team in the easy east
p.s.
The 2004 United State of America Mens Olympics Basketball Team is the first to not win the Gold Medal while featuring active NBA players on the roster
Im guessing Hakeem got so good because of the ballhog gloves
Best post player of all time
