드라마 ‘닥터 차정숙’은 가족을 위해 커리어를 포기하고 헌신했던 20년 차 가정주부 차정숙(엄정화 분)이 전공의 과정에 재도전하며 인생 대전환기를 맞는 그의 좌충우돌 속 희로애락을 다이내믹하게 그려낸다.
차정숙의 깐깐하고 예민한 남편이자, 철두철미한 대학병원 외과 과장 ‘서인호(김병철 분)’의 아슬아슬한 이중생활, 서인호의 첫사랑이자 가정의학과 교수 ‘최승희(명세빈 분)’, 정숙과 묘하게 얽히는 자유롭고 다정다감한 외과 의사 ‘로이킴(민우혁 분)’, 세 사람 사이에서 진정한 ‘나’를 찾아 인생 봉합을 시작한 차정숙의 도전을 기대케 한다.
