No dude!!! Was just sitting down to relax and watch some tube, and now I have to go back to workshop. Was toying with doing storage for drill bits at the bottom but this idea of yours is kick ass!!!!
I had a larger small shop until recently. Now I have about the same amount of space as you. This is a great idea as are other projects you've done for the small shop. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of Woodshop Junkies binge watching!
Love your attention to details. And your explanation as you move along in your projects. This is why I watch and will continue to watch your videos. Great job.
True every space can be used especially if you only have a small workshop area. I usually spend a long time just looking around the workshop to see how I can make good work of areas and convenience to pull out things I want to use and put away after use to clear center area for other jobs. I hate having to move a few things to get to what I want. Your ideas are a great asset to someone trying to utilise all areas convenient thank you
Despite having a little bit larger area I always approach from a maximising space thought process. This is a ripper of an idea. Sensational! Up there with the French cleat
Another brilliant design! Great use of space! I have a really small shop as well, so your ideas for making use of space are really valuable to me. Thanks!
I agree: it's a great idea and I might have to do something similar...but I wonder what he means by a small shop space when he's got room for a full size table saw (I'm dealing with a two car garage and figuring out how to incorporate the tools I have while adding enough space for a contractor's table saw that I can use on the driveway and then tuck away).
I love your work..❤ I still waiting for the last part of your drill press stand series. The drill press table. I like your way of maximizing the design for the ultimate version.📈
It never ceases to amaze me the things you come up with. I consider myself somewhat creative but couldn't think up half of the solutions you do. Cheers for yet another awesome idea and superb craftsmanship.
That is a great design. I think a solution to your airflow concern could be to slope the top forward by 30 degrees or so. This would also prevent the top from being used as a shelf to store things on that would get in the way of using the drawer and it would deflect drill shavings that land on it forward, reducing mess behind the stand.
That is an excellent solution. Because I often do metal works I had to make my drill press oil proof so MDF/plywood were not suitable. I also love using my magnetic fence and magnets as stop blocks. I really like your space saving approach and your mechanisms
Magnetic stop blocks - such a simple idea but I wouldn't have thought of it - I find adjusting t-slot bolts on the drill press bed annoying at the best of times, but switchable magnets do the trick perfectly.
I installed a bench grinder on backside of my drill press bench. I also setup a battery charging station on one side of the base with sortimo organizers under the drill press side; the opposite side has a cabinet which holds sanders and sanding pads and belts. Works well in a small shop as it can be wheeled around and even brought right to a job. I keep my bits around the base.
You have so many great solutions, I'll soon build my own small workshop and hope you don't mind me using some of your ideas 😁 looking forward to your next videos
Thanks for another great video. I wouldn't worry too much about restricting the airflow to the motor - I think you'll quickly get sick of cleaning chips and sawdust out of your new drawer, and will start closing it when the drill is running :)
i have been watching a lot of your videos and saw on your bench build that you have chow chow puppies and was wondering their names. I'm getting one this summer.
I have the same makita tablesaw as you do and i have the issue that my fence bents a little bit if i push my workpiece against it. Do you have the same problem?
Nicley done, looks very neat. But if majority of the time it will be up, surly the cavity it sinks into would be wasted space still (the draws on the front could have been deeper). A nice shelving unit that could ocationally be removed on the rare ocation that space is required could have been a more efficient and easier build?
I am glad to hear that you have found this book to be very informative and helpful for your woodworking project ruclips.net/user/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO It sounds like you are well prepared and confident to build furniture for your house. Oh yes, this was massively satisfying to watch. Great job! So many good ideas in your shop
No dude!!! Was just sitting down to relax and watch some tube, and now I have to go back to workshop. Was toying with doing storage for drill bits at the bottom but this idea of yours is kick ass!!!!
Just saw this in the background of your newest organizer. Brilliant! and now I have to see the whole drill press stand...😅

That is one hell of a drill press stand storage! Well done!
the entire self-contained mobile drill station is a great idea and well executed - cheers
Love your attention to details. And your explanation as you move along in your projects. This is why I watch and will continue to watch your videos. Great job.
just awesome how you think outside of the box to use empty space wish i could learn that trait! keep doing it and glad your feeling better!

Impressive! Very clever in how you reclaim space that most of us wouldn't even consider.
I enjoyed how you utilized the unit and the space saving features you have designed into it.
Like all of your projects and videos, this is pure genius!.
You are one clever dude! Nice job.
As always, Brilliant! Great Video and love the small workshop.
Awesome yet again; from "our" genius "kind Sir Junkie". Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Fantastic solution and execution!!

Wow! This is an awesome design and build!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Another clever and useful idea you’ve come up with. Awesome.
You are the master of cleverness! This is such a good idea!!
Goed gedoen Jean
Goeie werk
Came into the video late, jaw dropped when I saw what it was. Marvellous concept.
Excellent idea. Even in large shops this will be useful additional to a shop.
I love your work..❤ I still waiting for the last part of your drill press stand series. The drill press table. I like your way of maximizing the design for the ultimate version.📈
Another absolute stunning build
Outstanding. Best wishes from the UK.

Do you put anything on that flat surface on top of the drawer? I’d have made the surface sloped, to discourage / remind against it
That is an excellent solution.

@@mikelastname I actually built the switchable magnets and you can find it in one of my videos

This is a great idea. One of the few original ideas I have come across recently!
I’ve got to admit that’s pretty cool idea
Actually quite clever. Good job
Another great build! Excellent innovation. That's why I subscribed.
Great idea and great use of space. Good job.
Great idea 👍If your drill press is a good one otherwise, you don't have to worry about overheating.
again nice idea and design .... genius maximising space , my shop small too and your video are really helpful thx
Always great ideas and applications! Thanks
That is a great stand! Thanks for sharing this.
I am looking for the drill press table project in this series but can’t find it. Have you completed it yet?
You have so many great solutions, I'll soon build my own small workshop and hope you don't mind me using some of your ideas 😁 looking forward to your next videos
Awesome idea
I have so many tools that kind of waste some space that I could use something like this
That’s awesome idea. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic idea and design of maximizing space and a wonderful execution of the project. Thanks for the great ideas
Ingenious. Awesome job.
Absolutely brilliant idea. Subscribed!

Excellent design and build.
Nice job ! Very interesting idea.Tnx.
Brilliant solution! 👏
Great video! I want to buy the plans and was wondering if your drill press is a 13”? I’m only asking is because that is what I have. Thanks!
Ya know... thats a good idea. I'll be making mine soon.
Very nice. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
That is sheer genius. Yeeeeeeoooooow. Love it!
I really like your space saving ideas. Now I’m off to watch the earlier video in this series. Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
That is pretty uniquely clever! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for another great video.

Really great idea Jean.
Great ideas. New subscriber because of them thank you Richard
what a great idea always enjoy your videos buddy keep up the great work
Bravo pour votre travail.
Well done! Looks really nice and always having the drills near the drill press is very handy
Another awesome space saving solution!! You're the guru mate!!! 👍
i have been watching a lot of your videos and saw on your bench build that you have chow chow puppies and was wondering their names. I'm getting one this summer.
Good job, I like this a lot.
I really enjoy your episodes, extremely informative. Thank-you.
Neat idea. Thanks for sharing
I'm so jealous. Nice video.
Ingenious and practical as always!
Do you have plans available for this drill press stand?
Wow, great project.
Great solution. If you're worried about the motor overheating, move to the UK, it's not a problem here. 😁
Really amazing work, Jean! 😃
Brilliant use of space!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Very nice project well done 👍
vertical drawer = genius!
Another fabulous innovation for the small shop. Quick question if I may - how often do your tool holder cleats shear off at the notch cut into them?
So well thought out 👍🏽🙏🏻
I have the same makita tablesaw as you do and i have the issue that my fence bents a little bit if i push my workpiece against it. Do you have the same problem?
neat idea. very handy.
Cool design, thanks
Great idea and result.
I like the shop mantra of "Let us not waste space".
Or, as Kelly Bundy might say it, "Lettuce does not waste space". 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great design I haven't even started putting up my shop as I am a driver looking to retire and get started making stuff
Like it but would like something to ease the closure. Maybe a compression spring or a strut so it doesn’t slam down on a finger.
Epic stuff
Very ingenious!
Excellent. We just built a shed, for our workshop. This would help storage.
Fantastic. Awesome.
Very cool idea.
Great stuff as always!

Hey, Have you made a video for the belt sander stand you have made. If so would like to watch it. 😊
