Probably or maybe like they're reacting to their friends past lives.
And Since their friends remember it, and are afraid to tell them, and now they are "showing it" through this.
And the start of the video "unknown" said 'we're friends, right?'
That means unknown is someone they know and maybe it's not actually the creator. Though Idk i might be wrong.

Well I think it either might be another universe or maybe it's like they disappeared from this reality and got Isekai'd, that's why they look like the character of Haikuu, but I also think something like reincarnation, their souls being refreshed and wiped of all the bad memory... Anyway it's hard with only one episode out, really hope you finish your work!❤❤❤
