Back in the late ‘50s my dad got transferred to Pease AFB in NH. We were just North of Boston. After a couple of years I had two brothers and two sisters. Dad bought a black beetle and we would all pile in to go see the orchestra in the river in Boston or head to Wallis sands beach. Great times.
Hi Kim, My love of the aircooled VW started at a young age when my neighbor had one and I helped him restore it. When I became old enough to buy my first car I bought a 69' beetle. Then when I entered the Air Force and settled into my permanent base at Lackland, AFB at Wilford Hall Medical Center I flew back home and my dad and I drove my 69' beetle from Los Angeles to Lackland, AFB. This is a memory I will always cherish and which also gives me love for the aircooled VW.
I hope y'all know that the Europeans copy everything y'all do. Great show with fantastic examples of how to love a Volkswagen. I lived in LA for 15 years and I always had to work on the show date. It's on my bucket list
Thanks brother! Love your page too! We are a small group compared to the muscle/exotic scene. We aircooled RUclipsrs need to support each other. Looking forward for more videos from you!

I think it goes both ways, everyone I know wants to buy from the UK. I've been looking at Lloyd's split bug in the UK.
