awesome idea! just wondered about the white hairs under the tcs position, i watched saddle fitters for life training and wondered if that might be something you hadn't seen, re stress points :) love your adaptions!!
Thanks just hyper aware of keeping him comfy on longer rides. As for the white hairs, sombody else mentioned this in another video. He's a coloured cob, he's had them as long as I've known him, they haven't worsened or deminished. Think it's part of his colouring to be honest. He's never sore physio has always been impressed with him and for the size of the lad he sure can turn on a dime! (trust me! 😂) Hope this helps!
Love our TCS saddles they are flipping great. Slipping, can't say I have really.... Well only if I've been a twit and forgotten to tighten my girth. 🤦♂️ Hope you enjoy your TCS as much as our community do!
Hi there, we use nothing special, regular elasticated leather girth. Done up tight (two finger rule) adjusted after 10/15 minutes of riding. Other then my posh CL setup we have both ridden in a sheepskin/equitex foam numnah/Heather Moffat Back Saver Pad then TCS for 7/8 years with no slipping. Thor was very wide/fat when he came to us. And that setup was used (albeit with a few (4) shorter girths) Throughout. A few on the Total Contact Saddle Community group on Facebook have reccomended The Professionals Choice Ventech Girth and have reported a vast improvement in slipping..... But personally I've never seen the need on a variety of different shaped horses. Hope this helps. Matt and Thor 🐴
Can you advise what you did regarding putting in the memory foam, did you just cut it to fit the shape and stuff it in or did you sew it in? I’ve picked off everything but a bit stumped on how to proceed to that next step. Thank you!
The foam was cut to shape around a Heather Moffat Back Saver Pad, then the pad unzipped and the foam slotted in place with the Heather Moffat Back Saver Pad and then zipped up again. No sewing required ☺
Figured you come from my neck of the woods what with the rain and pointing out Manchester!! (I came from Rochdale). I live in the Northern tropics of Australia now and have a stock horse with a top line like a shark's fin. Would love to try the tcs but thinking i need some hefty padding! Also I'm a novice rider been out of the saddle 30 years forgotten most of what i used to know. Is it harder to stay balanced using the tcs? Will i feel like I'm about to come off as i feel bareback?? Great to watch you!! Lovely horses 👍

Great work and very nice pad
Love this video! Can you advise me on where to buy memory foam please?
Decathlon's finest Yoga mat selection will do you fine 😉
I have a TCS and bought the same bareback saddle where did you get your memory foam shims?
They are decathlon yoga mat cut to shape using the originals as a guide
I have a premium plus pad that is easily 17 yrs old and the billets are done. Now you give me an idea to get another 10 yrs out of it!
Amazing! Means this will last forever with my lad!
I've just ordered a TCS for myself, it arrives Thursday (I'm super excited!!). Do you find it slips at all?

@@MrMrsTEquestrian Thank you so much for the info!
What height is your boy and what size is the pad? Sizing description isn't the best. Thanks
It's a full size premium plus pad.
Thor depending on the day and how he decides he's going to stand is a modest 15.2.
@@MrMrsTEquestrian thank you
