Thank you for continuing to help us weekend warriors! I have been watching your videos and have definitely found them helpful. So I went out to the range yesterday and implemented several drills but I forgot about this particular video until the end of my session. WOW! What a game changer when I correctly set my wrists! A big thanks for this swing thought. Plus I love your accent LOL!
Hi, Nice video. When setting up with the stick the hands are forward and over the left knee. When setting up to take a shot, without the stick, the hands are more central and the grip of the club points to the belt buckle. Which should one do when setting up to take an actual shot?
christopher hall good question and depends on tho of shot you are hitting. Simple answer is set hands opposite left thigh if you’re a right handed golfer

I was watching your video where the club face should be facing the target line when the club is parallel to the ground in the beginning of the swing. This doesn’t look like clubface is facing target line???
Straightforward simple brilliant instruction as usual thank you
Very good demonstration, all of your coaching lessons are really good to watch. Thank you

Patricia Martel it should be!!
Thanks!
Should we start the backswing by going straight back for 1 to 1.5 ft, and then follow the swing plane?
Ehtesham Raja remember you swing on an arc so you follow the plane of that all the time - simple answer to your question yes
@@SMASHFACTORGOLFCOACHING thanks for the advice. What's the reason that I get a much better result in range if I follow the 1 ft back swing?
Ehtesham Raja you’re making a wider swing
@@SMASHFACTORGOLFCOACHING yes a wider swing will get more distance but it may also end up in a pull or a hook....correct?
Ehtesham Raja shot type depends on your club path, club face, strike location, angle of attack etc through impact
