I've been a fan of Ross since I stumbled on him 5 or 6 years ago. I bought both Bulletproof Guitar Player courses on Udemy at the time and was thoroughly impressed. His book went on sale about a week and a half ago and I got it too. I've made it to page 45, example 5.18, so far and it is exactly what I needed. His playing style and explanations are formatted to my current level of understanding. The tabs are spot on with the video examples so thanks to Levi for that. I believe, without sounding cliche, this could be the rut buster I need.

It says so much about the state of blues players that voice leading, arpeggios and diatonic lines blow minds!
Ross is a classy and tasteful player who reminds us that playing music rather than grinding out the same tired old pentatonic boxes is what we should be striving for.

I bought the Kindle version. It looks great -- the music is easily readable. I downloaded the MP3s (908 MB) and the MOV videos (22.7 GB), but you can stream the videos if you don't want to download them. All of those files come in ZIP archives -- there are three for the videos, ranging from 5.6 GB to 10.2 GB. The expanded data are the same size as the ZIP archives, so no compression was used (MP3 and MOV files probably can't be compressed more than they already are).

Great Stuff Levy and thanks for the transcription. I had just started to transcribe this solo in Gtr Pro from Ross's RUclips offering and will compare my attempt to yours to see how well I do. I know yours will be spot on. Ross is a very good teacher and becoming a special player in the blues world. I have also bought his book.... lots of work to do but I think this book has to be the best insight to date for 'breaking out ' of the Pentatonic scale and playing more intelligent phrases like our heroes.

Thank you! Yes, Mr. Campbell is a very accomplished and interesting player. For me learning the Mixolydian and Dorian modes really helped link everything together. Considering Mixolydian to be the major pentatonic scale helped, and thinking of the Dorian mode as the natural minor (in other words for example, D major is E Dorian, but if you think musically in terms of B minor rather than D major it helps thinking in terms of minor tonality).
