  • In this tutorial I am showing you how to use transfer paper to transfer your artwork onto watercolor paper. It's important to use this method so you don't spend a lot of time erasing on your beautiful, textured watercolor paper.
Erasing on watercolor paper removes the texture you need to soak in the water and paint. I highly recommend this method for more details painting where you know your sketching process will result in lots of "trial and error".
Here is the tracing paper I use:

I have used this technique for years and I agree it works great. Have a great week.😊

It's such a great method! Before I would destroy my paper erasing haha

Hmm, interesting technique, could you not just draw over the print out, tape it together so that both parts line up then flip that over and just rub over the whole surface to transfer the graphite, half the materials less time tracing?

Sure you could try this, but my concern would be the printer ink ending up on my watercolor paper
