A few years back I was driving along a single carriage way in an 80 zone towing a fully loaded moving trailer when this moron in a BMW pulled out right in front of me at a glacial pace. There was no way the old Hilux was gonna brake in time with all that weight behind it, so I did the old swerve overtake & swerve back in front of him real close to let him know I was pissed. The next minute I see him coming up my left side on the very edge of the road where there was barely any space. When his driver window gets level to my passenger window I see him screaming and waving a comically large wrench out the window. I mean this thing was like something out of a cartoon. I imagine he was trying to look menacing but my mate and I pissed ourselves laughing at him, which just made him angrier. Then he did the old psych-out swerve towards me, so I just slowly veered left in the lane - to the point he had to slam the anchors on or end up in a ditch. It was the highlight of moving day for me - thoroughly enjoyed it!
Hi, l commented last time that the visor hindered the view a little, you were driving in a few tight spots.. from a high school. Now, on this drive, l found the camera to be in an excellent position to see the traffic in front of you. I enjoyed the drive immensely. And l agree with another commenter, please have a fire extinguisher or 2 on hand. Never know when you going to need it ! Regards ,Joh.. Bunbury, Western Australia.
Been checking out your clips for a while Shane. Use to live at St Mary's but have since moved to a small village NW of Coffs Harbour. Love the commentary, especially when you're telling off other drivers. The camera angle is perfect. Leave it as it is.
Love yah work Shane, hope things go better in the future. Love commentary and style. Wonderful to see your videos again, keep plugging away at it. The man, the legend and truck
Good to see you again mate :) I'm not a fan of moving back but in my 55 years I have moved 26 times full house/family moves. Plus the camera is good where it is because we can hear the engine and the gear changes. Take care out the Sir those other drivers are bloody crazy :P
I completely agree with the smoking in vehicles. I had a company car fail one arvo, so the fleet manager gave me the keys to a spare car (the rep had recently resigned). As soon as I opened it, the stale smoke hit me. The whole rear shelf was full of burns from the ash that had blown around - the driver stupidly thinking by holding the smoke outside the window, it wouldn’t get in the car…. I had to drive home with the windows down and no AC because the air coming out of it was foul. When I got home I parked it with the windows down, and went straight into the shower. My wife was in one of the bedrooms upstairs and asked me if someone was smoking out the front. No, it was the smell from that car. I had to put my clothes straight into the wash - the smell embedded into them. I left the windows down all night, but the drive back into work was no better. I took a change of clothes with me, and used the shower at work. It was horrible. That rep popped up in a competing company, and I ran into him one day. I commented about how disgusting his car was, and he laughed - he said it wasn’t that bad because he never smoked unless the windows were down……. He copped a couple of fines for throwing butts too - I found that out from HR because the fines came to the company, and they had to work out who had the car at the time. It was him on both occasions. I’ve seen several median fires on the M7 and in Norwest caused by butts tossed from cars, so I’m all for them copping fines for it.
The thing is not all but most smokers think that they are doing no wrong, from smoking in a vehicle to tossing the butts. Thanks for sharing your story mate.
Lots of MOVES there Shane :) The only good “moves” stories I have is about the moves I’ve put on the ladies that have blown up in my face, hahahaha… probably not appropriate for this though ;) Thanks for another video Shane :)
Mate move is a 4 letter word for me lol, just moved from Broome to sth coast NSW , then back to Perth , now back in Broome all in the last 10 months . Keep the vids coming yep camera location is good !!!
Was this recorded yesterday (Thursday 6/6)? I drove Cardiff to Emu Plains and back yesterday (Thursday). M1, M11 (Northconnex), M2, M7, M4. The drive down in the morning was busy but not bad. The rain got heavy while I was there and the drive home was fncking awful. It's as though the moment it rains, they all forget how to drive. Reminds me. I should pull the footage off my dashcam of a low loader running a D-Max onto the median on the M7 while changing lanes. Truck indicates lane change, D-Max accelerates alongside trailer, truck comes over anyway...
MOVE Packed up and moved my family from Darwin to Mackay in Feb 2023. AAAAAAnd moved back to Darwin 8 months later in Nov 2023. Work transfer was no good. Company was no good. Was awesome catching up with family and kids playing Rugby League in a Rugby League minded place but just couldn't put up with the work. $7000 in wasted moving costs but we're better are better off!!!
Hey Shane I Had a car accident lost my accommodation and my job in less than a month then Moved from north qld to the hunter valley (Gungal south of merriwa ) then moved to Waroona WA in less than four months , oh I’m originally from the Newcastle region moving fuckin great fun .
Hey Shane Music to my ears at the end cheers for that. To use your word of the video I have a vx commodore I had sitting on my back lawn so moved it back to the cement parking spot in back yard but now we moved it back to the grass again. I will move her back to the cement again soon she is getting done up slowly for Rego again. Omg I am like you with the cigarette smell YUCK on all levels. Thanks for another great video love where the camera is sitting now by the way. Be safe out there
While officiating as a volunteer and unpaid technical official at Rockingham Motor Speedway this Arse from the circuit made me MOVE my car under threat of being towed. I didn't volunteer for that circuit again in a hurry and it recent years it has ceased being a race track.
"Moved" hello fkr, where you been? Anyway, few years back I was out in the WA wheaten, roadtraing grain. I had a Kenworth T604 which was absolutely the ducks guts! One time I had left my trailers at Brookton and was Bob tailing home for the weekend. No shit, so I was about 2 km away from my house in Swan View and about 400 metres from a rail crossing, when I smelt smoke. Looking around, I thought what the fark was on fire...then I realised it was me!! Well with one stroke, I activated the park brakes, shut the engine off, grabbed my man bag, threw that out the door, exited the truck to the ground with one MOVED (a no small effort I can tell you) and the assessed my predicament...long story short, the main battery cable had arcted out onto the chassis and shorted out the entire main harness. No isolator switch... main point is this, INSTALL A SMOKE DETECTOR in your sleeper cab, because when you are asleep you cannot SMELL!!!! A short like this could occur anytime and if your asleep it could end up fatal. Good video mate. Ps turn that fkn indicator beeper off!!!
I love the new view Shane. Much better. As for smoking, fucking disgusting shit that and you will never get that stank out. Love your work my friend. Truck yeah😂
camera's fine where it is , maybe try raising it up slightly for a more "driver" like view. whatever you drive please carry a couple of fire extinguishers for your sake and maybe to help other motorists as well. thanks for the vids mate.
Hey mate I love your videos, do you have some kind of chat group somewhere that drivers could have conversations through? I’m fairly new so it would be awesome to network a bit
Shane Has Got 3 Problems but making a vid ain't one. Moved 32 times in 51 years and at one stage each suburb ended in ton. Flemington, Werrington, Ermington. most of the moves were done as a kid, I think mum was a nomad/ gypsy in a previous life.

Bro I’m a smoker I understand that a smoker stinks if everyone gives up smoking just think how much tax you will pay they make $16 billion a year everyone gives up smoking who’s gonna pay that I know do you it’s called non-smokers love your videos anyway
I hear ya about switching vehicles mate; recently had the clutch go in my fiat doblo work van (barely 70k on it btw so wtf 🫤) turned out to be a similar thing to your Kenworth (failed bearing). Had to switch to one of our two suzuki vans which barely get driven - went for the one with aircon as you do, found the last driver had decided to leave his coke cans, burger wrappers and apple cores everywhere as well as the bloody thing stinking of rollies. I'm no longer a smoker and the smell is actually awful to me now. Had to spend a good couple of hours vacuuming and cleaning it out so that I could move all my gear in. 8 weeks wait later and the mechanics have just gotten parts to fix the Fiat van. Moral of this story; if you bought a Fiat sell it before the warranty ends and clean out ya work vehicle at least every week 😂

The more expensive the car, the more entitled of a jerk the driver is……
