I am very interested in how you solved the differential problem. Do you have only one driven wheel, or do you have a differential for both rear wheels? I am trying to figure out a chain driven differential for my own horseless carriage project.
from stopping the video and assessing it looks as he has used a polaris transmission scrambler 400 with the variable clutch from engine to tranny and from engine to alternater another puller i do believe both rear wheels turn in the rear. SO Douglas how did you build turn out.. post a video on youtube!
I really enjoy your movie, I don't know if you ever go back on line or not but I waish I could communicate with others who love the little sweetheart of a car. I drove mine all over even on the highways between California and Missouri. I never went anywhere that people did't want their photos taken with it. I was on a fund raising Tour for our AFallen Warriors. Or www.GoldStarWall.org. I am 76 years young and still trying to Serve my Country the best I am able to so I do Fund Raisers with my car until I wrecked it November 8, just seven days after I suffered two heart attacks out on a Fund Raising tour. LOL We old men never learn. LOL Now I am searching for another one and found one but am not able to afford the high cost of shipping. I am hopeful I can either find another one closer or someone will help me get the one I am looking at shipped and I can pay them off in 90 days. I have the cash for the car. But being all laid up at this time am not able to raise the funds to get it to Redding, Ca.
That is an awesome machine. I love the rear suspention, quite unique.
looks like great workmanship! curious as to how the differential was constructed. love the four legged assistant too.
