Very entertaining and helpful. Being a hobbyist software dev for many years and a very techy guy I know a lot of what you're covering however I watch anyway because I almost always learn something really cool and interesting. Hoping to take the A+ one day soon and have been trying to fill in gaps in my knowledge. I have to say you've been a great teacher and taught me a lot! :) Thanks Mike!!
I'm looking at getting a laptop on which I can do virtualization. I'm trying to learn cybersecurity on my own. I had gone into a cyber defense and digital forensics program at the local college and had to drop out because of depression. But now I'm trying to do as much as I can to learn it on my own. I used to have a two bedroom apartment. My master bedroom was my hardware lab where I would take apart old computers that were given to me and work on trying to rebuild them just to get the practice. My dining room was my software lab where I had a scanner set up to scan negatives and I had my computer set up to watch DVDs while I was in the living room. And I could also practice any coding I wanted to work on.
Any system you build should have a lot of RAM. You never know what you're going to be using it for, virtualizing lab environments? You need RAM and HDD space. Gaming? Same thing. Design? Same.
Maximum RAM...still not enough to run more than a single tab of Chrome. 😅 x2 1080s in SLI, but can it run Crysis? 😃 I would get a Mac for a workstation but I don't feel like spending a grand on a monitor stand. 😄
I'm not sure what you system is but anything over the minimum for the OS should give you enough to run several browsers with multiple tabs each. There may be something else going on that is dragging your system down
@@TotalSeminarsChannel Hahaha, it was just a joke. There's a popular meme about Chrome consuming a lot of RAM. I have a machine with 6 GB of DDR3 RAM on an X58 system from 2009 and it runs just fine. 😃

Does pearson give partial credit on a plus questions that require more than one answer?
Yes, check out this blog it talks about strategies and how they grade: www.totalsem.com/blog/testing-strategies-for-comptia-exams/
There is 1 thing better than the smell of new electronics Mike and that's the post screen
Did you see it 9:52

Missed the RAM in the gaming PC.
A good gaming system is all about the RAM

Mike you're a bit old school - the iGPU is on the CPU now not the Motherboard. ruclips.net/video/MZOAWUW0nVU/видео.html
