The eggplants with spots should not be wasted. Below is 2 recipes to make extra yummy food.
    225g container sells for $3.50-4.50
Take marked eggplants to farm market, wash them and roast them in the oven until the black outer cover is crusty and the inner eggplant is mushy.
Take it out of the oven, cut out the section with spots, and peel the rest of eggplant. Wash the mushy eggplant and make sure it is totally clear of any roasted cover.
Dice the eggplant on a cutting board using a knife, in criss cross direction.
You can make eggplant tahini dip:
Crash two pieces of garlic very fine, mix with lemon juice of one lemon, then add to the eggplant. Add two spoons of tahini sauce, mix and refregirate.
Eat with toasted pita bread or toast.
    Or make Baba Ghanouj:
You add to the mushy diced eggplant some diced tomatoes, some parceley, some onions, some cucumber and some crushed garlic and lemon juice and olive oil. Mix and refregirate and enjoy with pita bread or toast, or tortilla.

They are NOT wasted, they are composted back into the fields...that's the best use for them as a farmer

I had my steamed cauliflower with melted pepper cheese on it for dinner. Then I had a nice fish sandwich. My neighbor came in my garage and saw all the veggies that I had been picking and put on newspapers on two 7 foot long wooden benches and a work table. She left with red bell peppers she said she was going to stuff and freeze. It is kinda neat that once you get people into eating more vegetables, they slide back into that behavior and start eating more meals instead of filling up on junk food.
I noticed you had a lot of rotting cabbage leaves in the field since you harvested them. I have that too and that makes for good compost to work back in the soil. Thanks for another video. These are so relaxing to watch.

If all of the viewers of this channel were to see my cauliflower just starting to appear, they’d crack up laughing at their size. They’re barely the size of the smallest broccoli shoot! Also the eggplants have decided to start flowering now near frost time… 😵‍💫 The Broyans grow amazing looking veggies❣️

You have beautiful vegetables and you take pride in what you do and how you pick the vegetables do you pick just for of your store and the farmers market. my question is what do you do with the other vegetables that are so pretty and nice what do you do with them? Do y’all pick everything out of your field and sell them to stores or do y’all sell them at auction? I was just wondering because it is such beautiful vegetables, thanks for the hard work that y’all put in to raising these vegetables

If I lived near you I would take a bushel of broccoli , cauliflower, and collards. Also turnips, rutabaga, and just about everything in your gardens. People don’t know how lucky they are have a farmers market near them. Only if you could ship.

Over the winter I constructed a rack for my golf cart to keep a lot of my small tools and loppers on so I never forget them, one might serve you well. A word from the wise, the way you guys use those knives you should take a grinder to the ends of them and square it off it could prevent a nasty little trip and fall over some broccoli, way out there like that probably ngmi 😢. I know you are tired of them always asking stuff but my chikinz are wondering how the strawberries are doing? The way you guys throw good chimkin produce all over the place really gets them worked up and they love little more than strawberries all over the ground.
