I think it doesn't matter how much the guitar was out of tune... in the end it's 'The VOICE of Germany' not the guitar sounds of Germany... and his voice is very pure and warm... good choice to turn around, Yvonne Catterfeld!
Have you ever been playing in front of that kind of public, while passing on TV ? Of course it's easy to think of it when you're alone AT home or with some friends, but in that kind of TV show, with the pressure, it can happen.

Am I wrong or is his guitar is off ??? I play the keys and the guitar ! But his voice was nice and mind u! He was in pitch with the actual song even though his guitar was offtune ! Now idk if he did it on purpose coz this is the only video I've seen. Of him But playing off tune and singing in pitch is sumting else :)
