- Here's what some high rated 2v2 looks like. Very long games; shows how one little mistake can push you so far behind in games as a fire mage at this rating. I feel like these types of games do a good job of displaying skill and coordination unlike randomly globaling people, but if you don't like long games, this video may not be for you.
I know I've been posting a lot of arena lately and it's cause I'm trying to push high rated in all brackets before the expansion ends. Hope you understand!

The skills on all sides -- you and the teams you fight in this video -- is real. In particular, good God, that Destruction Warlock in the opening vid! I tend to judge how good other players are by how long they can survive against the reigning Fire Lord of WoW =) He really made you work with those kills. No matter how many times you tried to corner him, he got to that gateway, and no matter how many times you moved to LoS those fears, he'd managed to start casting when you would always just have one less second than you'd need to break LoS, and almost every time you got that Feral set up to DPS down, he had his Felhunter spell lock ready to break your DPS cycle. It was kind of profound :)
Also, that moment at 15:40, where you have the healer in a Polymorph, and your Druid has the warrior in a cyclone, and he _waits until your Fireball hardcast and Pyroblast are in midair to swap his clone to the healer to take it off the Warrior_ is a level of coordination that I had to watch 2-3 times to believe. I mean, wow. _Wow._ And yet...16:25. Let's ignore that it was bound to happen against a warrior at this rating. I'm just trying to figure out how someone who is so talented themselves can be so _bitter._ Like, I'm under no illusion that being good at something makes you a nice person. I just thought that he'd have the confidence to know that even if you slipped up and put a Deep Freeze into a Spell Reflect, it'd all work out in the end because the two of you are fantastically skilled.

I really like 2v2 more than 3v3, I don't know why. But it's nice to watch some really high 2v2 with skilled players. I've never been higher than 1700 in 2v2 but i've never properly tried with anyone other than my friends for fun. Nice vid, Hansol

Been doing Mage, Priest and Druid healer comp today a lot myself, just so happy to see even u sit in a single match for easy 10-15min :D Keep up the awesome vids man
now when i look at back at mop it seems that there was so much bullshit about instant things swap life instant heals there was ton of holy priests, but overall it was still lot more fun then wod

Good to know at 2.4k+ people are still whiny and acting like they know your class better than you. I have left mid game over that many times. Just shut up and play your own toon. I didnt hear Hansol whining about the clones on the wrong target every time the druid messed it up.

That Warrior/Priest were completely outplayed, yet the warrior survived SO many burst attempts. It is crazy the survivability that warriors have.
U know the stupid combs/classes are the best.
Yeah, Warriors are actually so fucking hard to kill. Don't forget freedom novas and reflects to counter deep so easily. It simply just becomes a mind game and reaction time comparison.

it's not the warrior's survivability as much as fire has very weak finishing pressure since they have no execute abilities and once deep is over their damage sucks. if he was frost then he'd have killed him a LOT sooner.
Isaac McCree Are you dumb? Go watch hansol's 3v3 fireplay 2850 video. He does about double xaryu's(frost mage) damage. Fire is very good if you know how to play it, and no you dont need deep to do dmg.

I love your videos Hansol. Your interface is very intuitive and I can always follow your plays and what's happening. I particularly like your CC on the portrait addon and your interrupt timer. Very slick set up. Can you tell me how you know the poly is on dr at 15:50? Edit: nvm I found it beside your arena frames.

That arena session shows that even hansol makes some little mistakes,but anyway great gameplay
I am actually just looking at the rankings and Hansol is at 106 place in the world(at all) and the best fire mage in the world(other mages in rankings are frost).FUCK YEAH

Hansol you get so scared when you see a chaosbolt :P it only hurts when it has dark soul with proc trinkets up for 200k without it.. it;s around 120k

Midkiffx12 True but he dosen't play destro and destro is a class which you need to play to see how chaos bolts scale out if you were with a dps sure. but nah hes with a healer but hansol is still a god at fire.
What interrupt add on are you using? looks like interrupt bar but its hidden
Tbh I don't know why people are flaming the druid about his behavior in the last match. It wasn't that bad and at higher ranks people tend to be more competitive. He only got a bit agitated when Hansol had his DF reflected for the third time in a row and even then he wasn't excatly being rude imho:D Just telling Hansol to focus a bit more and it helped seeing as they got the kill soon after :)
I'm sure Hansol would get a bit frustrated as well if the druid made a similar mistake three times in a row. It's not like he doesn't get competitive at all during matches :D

I like the videos and you really make me want to go Fire on my Mage, but I've gotta ask, why do you play with this Druid? I know he's good, but he's got a piss poor attitude and it's really annoying. He takes the game WAY too seriously, and that's coming from someone who has been a full-blown addict since '04.
Either way, I enjoy the videos and hope to see more come WoD.
That's annoying that heal/dps comp > dps/dps, it's always such long match, waiting for 20% heal debuff

I mean, i ve had drud partners, they symb' me and they got frost nova or the armors (mage armor, frost armor..) but they didn't got the ice block symb'!! his partner is a resto druid he gets bloc , a feral gets nova , a balance gets mirror image ... it depends on the specs both players are playing
+Amine SAMP My partner was resto and i fire and idk why he was symbing for frost armor... probably its cuz of a Tier talent... Anyway i played Rdrud after that and everytime i symbed mages i got ice block..it was rdrud problem, as i said a wrong Tier talent

Hansol I actually want to second this Hansol - seeing you play Fire Mage in Hansol the Pyromaniac got me back on WoW. You and Cobrak are just awesome. I'm hoping to be doing some battleground montages and Arena vids. I won't presume to teach when I have so much to learn - even in this video I learned a lot by watching - but I hope I can make some entertainment videos along the lines of what you and Cob do, and maybe I'll have something worth telling others at some point =)

Please play ring against such melee comps. Double breath ring hardcast pyro is just op. I know you prefer frostjaw and its a logic choice against casters. But warriors? Frostjaw -> safeguard

yea i quit wow for a reason but i still love to watch some feedback from wow players you're a good fire mage. me for myself used to be a good frost mage i played vanilla wow till mop and i quit before the release of WoD so sorry but i had to but i still want to return i only dont have the money for it yet i probably return this summer

I feel like pushing high rating in every bracket before the expansion ends then screenshot it to remember how much of a life I have. xD Pushing 2.4k+ as Fire / Shadow is nearly impossible so I need to play with a really good healer.

Please find another druid to group up with if possible - Shapes might be a very good player, but he does certainly not have a very good personality. Venomous and judging all the time - I'm afraid it'll rub off on you, and I'd hate to see your good nature get tarnished like that.

Hansol I believe WoD is going to fix the issue of topping someone off instantly and of one-shotting someone.

I also play a Fire Mage and this video makes me laugh, a lot, basically that druid summs 80% of WoW community. Basically just because Mages havê burst, everyone thinks Mage is an easy class to play in the arena. Im not gonna lie even frost, yes it is OP as fuck, but you cant really expect much of a Mage when it is getting tunnel'd. Which happens the majority of the games.

Yeah that's what I thought honestly. Games are too long, so boring but it really helps with overall coordination with your healer. It benefits you in 3s in the long run. Not the mention how rewarding it feels to beat other high rated 2v2 teams! It feels more rewarding that just playing double DPS at 2.2k mmr. It's just really try hard though xD

Other than that - good luck. Fire mage is easily one of (if not) the hardest specs to play in the game once you get high rated.

I love WoW but this is not funny at all!!! It could be very simple take away heal from dmg classes def cd-s ok but no heal let the healer heal and dmg do dmg!!!

A Feral is a Hybrid class just like ele shammy,Owl and shadow priest, their healing is one of their defensive cooldowns. Without this a Hybrid Class isn't viable because every class that doesn't have castable self heal has bigger def cd's.
