100% my problem, thank you, this whole time I thought the issue was my front foot, never even occurred to me it was the back. And I definitely keep my core straight when running like a robot because I thought that was good form. Gonna try turning a little from now on :)

Good to look at again. My calluses tend to be on the outside of the big toe so sorta assume means there is also rotation when doing too much pushing off. Thanks again for the reminder on this subject

I always get blisters between my 3rd and 4th toes on my left foot. Could this be my fix? At this point, I can only run in injinji toe socks to prevent... excited to give it a try, thanks!

Let me know how it goes! You probably would benefit from shoes with a wider toebox as well. Check out my video on choosing the right running shoes.

Considering I have painful forefoot calluses AND calf tension AND foot tension while running---this is probably my problem.

I’m getting calluses on the outside of my big toes I run forefoot in a barefoot shoe. How do I start landing on my outside toes to avoid this?

Thanks! This was very helpful! I've been running for years, and started to develop callus in an odd spot on my foot. I couldn't figure it out until now...I had been overcompensating for a short QL. Long story short, I was trying to keep my hips level and at the same time stopped the natural rotation of thorax.

Jae you have answered a conundrum for me. Thankyou. I wonder if the new s and c running guys at goata loco have problems with blisters from all the spiralling they try to get the leg to do. ;)
