- Here’s a couple WX Autoreaches running out of the Rochester yard. These WX Autoreaches are a staple of rural MN yards but they are quickly fading out and being replaced by LR ZRs. I really enjoyed filming this 113 because the scenery and the driver were cool.

Cool seeing this era of Autocars still kicking in such a harsh climate. I grew up having my trash picked up by these with Bridgeport bodies on them and they’re looking pretty beat up these days, so it’s even more impressive that WM kept these going for so long in Rochester of all places. I would not mind seeing other stuff from this area, there’s definitely some variety for a small town…
Yes, they still have a bunch of these WX ARs around MN at the rural diesel yards. But as they continue to lose small town contracts these will be gone and it will be all LR ZRs. Rochester is probably the biggest diesel yard, mostly WX ARs with a mix of LR ZR, Ex-AD LEU AR/ZR, Pythons and MA. Rochester the city is actually massive, lots of newer developments and downtown city blocks. With the purchase of AD and garbage man they have a lot market share but there is some rumors of them going organized.

Thank you!! No they aren’t all gone yet, there’s still a good number but they are slowly getting phased out. I definitely want to get more footage sometime

I think this is my last full video of any truck from Rochester but I’m gonna upload a compilation of many different Rochester trucks sometime in the near future
