Gotta say, I did 10 years of classical piano as a kid, but only one year of jazz piano - the improvisation was so different and intimidating, even learning the various techniques I never fully got into it. So I really, *really* appreciate how many of those skills I recognize in this arrangement, as rusty as my memory is there. It's really cool to see them actually, fully written out into the sheet music, compared to the minimalist notation I've seen normally.
This is SO SO SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! I've been looking for a Milabo arrangement to play and I've been too lazy to arrange it myself and it was just so amazing hearing this. Although, as you said it lacks a little of the original flair, it's SO CLOSE and it doesn't take away from much of any of the original song at all. I really liked how you did your best to mimic the claps, it felt extremely realistic to me. Thank you for releasing the sheet music also!!! I'm gonna have fun learning how to play this
Why does every good arrangement have so many goddamn chords. Even the classical, romantic, 19's song my teacher gives to me is already getting hard. Guess im going to triple my piano grind.

the jazz is STRONG here. Unfortunately, I'm about 2 or 3 songs behind schedule. I'm probably doing another jazzy song after Parade, to better prepare me for this kind of stuff. The solo was absolutely amazing, and I (again) enjoyed how accurately you stayed to the original while making it fun and playable.
@@WhiteNotes Agreed, that 0:23 Ab->A->Bb part that's from trumpet/violin in the original is next to impossible for me XD. Still trying to practice that tho bc it adds so much color to the part.
@@zuika1805 You probably need a bigger hand for that XD you could try leaving the Ab out of the chord, I think it wouldn't make much difference but still give the same feeling!

The jazz is strong in this one ;) yeah but I think this is going to he difficult to play, some of the hand placements aren't normal I think xD
